L'Ermitage du Grand Bois is a spacious, peaceful estate situated at an altitude of 650 metres, making the summer temperatures of southern France very pleasant. The combination of fresh air and peaceful surroundings makes for an ideal setting for a natural, simple and zen vacation... in the middle of the Bois! Calm, intimacy and a change of scenery are guaranteed, as are serene, rejuvenating nights...
It's a place where you can literally go green: back to basics, in contact with century-old trees in the heart of the Drôme Provençale and just a stone's throw from the mythical Saoû forest, with its famous 3 Becs!

The setting

Located between Bourdeaux and Dieulefit, l'ermitage offers a rich combination of sporting and tourist activities, in the midst of a wild and varied natural environment: cycling, horse-riding, donkey-riding, hiking (GR 965, Chemin des Huguenots, Saoû forest, magnificent geological nature reserve), local markets, arts and crafts, cafés, museums...
45 minutes from Montélimar, in the foothills of the Vercors, you can relax by the pool, in the sunny meadow, or on our shaded terraces: natural scenery with splendid views of the imposing crests, listed hilltop villages, organic markets, renowned pure air, excellent for the frail.

All-inclusive net rates per night. Electricity is generally included.

Modern sanitary block, hot showers, 7 WCs, 7 washbasins, dishwashing sinks, 4 complete cabins, including 1 for children. Led sensor lighting.

  • It was lovely nice in the shade and a nice clean pool. The floor around the pool is very unpleasant without flip flops though. We had a great time!!!
