Description

A bucolic orchard near Dole, and the access to the highway, in the commune of Jouhe in the heights. Isolated from the village, you will be able to pitch your tent in this small green setting sheltered from view.

The setting

An ancient murger (orchard surrounded by dry stones where plots of vines were cultivated in the past) where old apple trees, cherry trees, hazelnut trees, and ornamental plants cohabit surrounded by greenery and other nearby orchards.

The spots

For the access, it is accessible by car, I will send you the GPS coordinates because it is a well hidden place. There is a place for the cars on the plot in point, then for the tents free to you to place you on the plot where there is the shed in wood.

There is no sanitary, no drinking water.

The amenities

There is a small place surrounded by stone to make a fire or a barbecue.
Enjoy and use the aromatic plants (mint, verbena, thyme,..). If there are fruits, you can also use them.

The activities

There is a nice walk to Mont Roland where you will find a brewery (open from Friday to Sunday, sale and consumption of beer on site) and a restaurant.
To get there take the bridge over the highway, yellow signs will guide you to the top of Mount Roland.

I don't live on site, so don't hesitate to contact me for any information.
Sometimes I will be present, I have a caravan on the spot, that will give you access to a solar shower, dry toilet, drinking water and possible loan of tent.
