Description

Welcome to our little paradise, a large natural area on the edge of a fishing pond.

The setting

A peaceful setting between a small meadow and a forest!
During your stay, you'll have access to a shared dining area.

The spots

The plot is easy to access. The sitting area is flat, with a view over the pond. Down below, there's a shelter where you can take your meals.

The sanitary facilities

We have dry toilets and a water point (accessible via a path that leads to the woods, about 30 meters away). For showering, we have a solar-powered shower next to the toilet.

The amenities

Summer kitchen, sink, dry toilet and solar shower.
We can lend you crockery and cutlery.
Gas cooker available.

We are not connected to electricity, but can provide a small solar panel to charge a cell phone or LED lamp.

The activities

From our grounds, you can go for walks or bike rides.

You can fish (no kill), look for mushrooms, lay down your hammock...

The village of Chameyrat has a grocery store and bar.
The town of Tulle is nearby (8 km), where you can go to the market every Wednesday and Saturday morning.

Examples of things to see and do within 10 km: the town of Tulle (media library, cinema, restaurants, historic center, markets), the agro-ecological center Le battement d'Ailes in Cornil (festival, events, courses), the lake Le Coiroux (swimming, children's games), the listed village of Aubazine (canal des moines), the village of Saint-Hilaire Peyroux (starting point for hikes), etc...

Other things

Our place is a nature paradise, and you won't find a lawn mowed to the millimeter.
We live 8 km away, but as soon as the weather's fine, we're always on the move. We'll be delighted to advise you on local walks and recipes, and above all to meet you!

Please use natural/biodegradable products for showering and washing up.
Natural environment, thank you for preserving it.

We do not authorize swimming in our pond, and we draw your attention to the risk of drowning for non-swimmers or young children.

For those with sensitive ears: our neighbors have two donkeys, who will show you their most beautiful voice!
