In terms of functionality, I'd add a toilet, as only 1 isn't very comfortable when there are 15 of us on site, and a shower (there's only one).
The kitchen is top-notch and made us want to cook some tasty meals!
The swimming pool is a real plus in hot weather!

I was just a little frustrated not to be able to use the bikes (too far from the cycle paths!).
But the beaches aren't that far ( 15 mn /20 mn) and that's cool!

Marie and Jean-François gave us a very warm welcome, and explained everything very clearly.
We stayed for a week, during which their presence was a perfect balance of conviviality, availability and discretion. They are truly charming hosts.
The place is a few kilometers from the beach, and the bike ride can be a bit sporty if you're not used to this mode of transport, but you gain a calm and immersive setting in the Landes environment that you won't get anywhere else. We also liked this authenticity, and during our excursions, we didn't regret our choice when we saw people crammed into a few square meters: at Marie and Jean-François's, you have space, you can breathe... and it's very relaxing!
Amenities are perfect. Of course, you can't expect to stay in a hotel... but when you "camp", the comfort they offer is well up to reasonable expectations. I was won over by the dry toilets, which are impeccably clean, and the communal area is a real plus, offering close proximity to other campers, conducive to sharing experiences and helping each other out. The atmosphere among our hosts was truly excellent.
We stayed here with our two children, aged 4 and 16 months. The setting is ideal, with plenty of entertainment for the little ones.
I sincerely recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a quiet stay in a spirit of simplicity, authenticity and sharing...
If you're the kind of person who likes to quibble and grumble about things, then you'd better move on, because you don't deserve hosts and a place as nice as Marie and Jean-François'.
Each camper who comes here leaves a part of himself, of his energy, like an indelible imprint of his passage. It's up to all of us to maintain the good vibes of a place like this...

The setting is magical: a very large garden (we didn't step on each other at all, even though there were about 20 of us), very cosy communal areas, a fully-equipped kitchen, clean sanitary facilities...
What's more, I was traveling in a hammock and thunderstorms were forecast for the night, so they lent me a tent! I also had a pump problem, and they helped me without hesitation.
It's so nice to come across people who really care, so thank you again. I'll always remember this trip to Mimizan! -

I found this home camp at the last minute and even writing the day before I got an answer immediately.
I was looking for a quiet place away from civilization and finally the universe took me right here and it's so much better. If you want something simple without fuss that you like to be barefoot in flip-flops and spend chill evenings in soft light chillout atmosphere this place is for you.
Surrounded by pine forest you have a small airfield next door and you can watch the parachutists land while having your breakfast.
All the comforts are there if you need to cook, cookware, coffee maker, fridge, etc. In fact, you don't need anything and Marie and JF are really great. I traveled alone and I felt more like I was on a weekend at my second parents' house than in an rbnb.
I really recommend and especially JF and Marie don't change anything you are great.
If you like small animals you will surely have the visit of TAZ, a very small dog who comes to make his turn in the morning ????.
Really low and for prices that defy all competition go there with your eyes closed.
