Description

Located at 400m from the Eure river and from the veloscenie, we welcome you in our very atypical house and propose you a small piece of land to make a stop on your cycling and/or hiking routes.

Our village has a number of local shops to cater for your various needs before setting off again. Otherwise, Chartres and its cathedral is located at 3km by the green way. From April, take advantage of the Chartres en Lumière illuminations to marvel at the local heritage.

The setting

Our land is closed and without opposite. The terrace will allow you to dine quietly in the open air. In the evening, the place is rather calm and the traffic is quieter. From the ground, you will be able to observe the cathedral which is located not far from

The spots

The site we provide is in our garden. It is a small piece of land, rather flat and pleasant. You will have to go through the house to get there.
The ground is sunny all day long and has little shade. We have an arpenaz 4.2 tent (4 persons, two bedrooms) that fits on the ground without any problem. However, beyond that you may feel cramped.

The sanitary facilities

The toilets and the shower are located in the house, we share them with you. They are available at any time in the respect of each one. We do not provide linen and towels. Thank you for providing your own. We also ask you to respect the place and to leave it clean as you found it.
Please note that there is a water point outside if you need it.

The amenities

Electricity: We provide you with an electric point which is outside the house.

Internet : We have wifi and are willing to share it with you if needed.

Garden : Garden furniture is available for eating, resting, strolling. However, we do not provide dishes. The drying rack is also available to dry your clothes.

Fridge : We leave you some space in our fridge to keep your food.

Drinking water. An outside tap is available for you to use. It is connected to the house circuit, so the water that comes out is drinkable.

Bicycle: Your bicycles will be safe inside our garage. There is no fear of theft. As an amateur and passionate cyclist, I also have some equipment available if you wish to have a look together. (within the limits of my skills of course) otherwise, decathlon is 3km from the house in the neighboring town.

The activities

When the sunny days arrive (from April to October), the monuments of Chartres are illuminated in the evening with sound and light scenography. It is called "Chartres en Lumières", don't hesitate to visit it.

There are also plenty of shops, restaurants, parks, and various leisure activities not far from Chartres by the greenway located at 400m from the house.

Rules

The field is maintained regularly. It is also our child's play area. Please leave it clean after you leave.

It is possible to smoke outside, but please keep your cigarette butts in a trash can and not in the field. As for access, if you go out in the evening, we will lend you a key that you will have to give back after your departure.

The barbecue/plancha area is not accessible.

  • I was riding the véloscénie to Mont Saint Michel and spent a night at Jonathan's house. A warm welcome, I pitched my tent in his garden, which is on the floor above his house. Shower, toilets, there was everything to rest. Jonathan is always available. He's also a cyclist, so he gave me some information ;-) See you soon!
