Description

Rustic, simple, outdoor camping space near a creek and secondary road.

You must have your tent. Perfect space for a romantic getaway. Maximum 2 people on site. Dry toilet on site, piknik table. Parking is a 1 minute walk away.


Close to the Missisquoi North trail, Sentiers de l'Estrie.

Don't bring wood from outside, we sell wood bags for 5$, thank you. Bring your own water to drink, no drinking water on the site.

The setting

Possible wild animals, soft noise of the river during the night, a little traffic of the secondary street and lamp post at the corner of this street which can reflect a little on the site but all in all, very black site. Surrounded by small trees which sometimes let glimpse the rare passers-by.

Space in withdrawal, quiet for a moment in real nature.

The spots

Parking at 1 minute walk in our yard, the campground is located near the small river, it is flat with big trees to put the tent under. Easy to access, we can let you park close by while you unload your belongings, then return to the parking lot.

Semi-shaded area, swimmable river with 4-5 feet deep pool. Biodegradable soap only!

The sanitary facilities

Dry toilet on site directly. Water at the river not drinkable but great for washing dishes. Washing boilers on site.

The amenities

Piknik table on site, fire area with grill for cooking, you must be autonomous for the rest. Note that coolers must be put in the car for the night because possible bears.

The activities

swimming in the village of Eastman, several hiking spots near the site.

Rules

This space is meant to be "Leave No Trace", you must bring in your trash, recycling and compost and put them in the large garbage cans in the courtyard before you leave.

Curfew at 11am, no loud parties for the respect of all.
