Description

LeChamp, my land is located between small mountains with Parasol Pines where you can go horse riding and paragliding and between the Mediterranean Sea. Close to Spain and the Pyrenees. LeChamp has a vegetable garden, dry stones where the cicadas rest, it is surrounded by vineyards. It is composed of multiple plants and olive trees, with which I make olive oil and table olives. LeChamp is a very pleasant place to recharge your batteries and immerse yourself in Nature. Here, in the back country of Narbonne, far from mass tourism, we let ourselves live, quietly, at the edge of the Canal du Midi, between Carcassonne and Agde. All activities are not far away. Come to AuChamp and enjoy this beautiful Mediterranean nature, come to reconnect with nature, you and your children.

The setting

The noise is Nature, sometimes a tractor passes, to go to the vineyard, around DUCHAMP, of the Organic Vineyards. There is no electricity yet, but later there will be solar energy. At night, it is the Moon which illuminates us, AuChamp, you can see, Observe ALL the Celestial Vault, and the Milky Way passes just above, if you come in August, it will be a rain of shooting stars with full of wishes! The children will be delighted, to be able to set up their tents in a corner a little far from the parents... Freedom in security. The view is magnificent, clear, and when there is a south wind you can feel the sea spray. If Paradise exists, it is called LeChamp.

The spots

The sites for campers are rather towards the top of Duchamp, near the small asphalt road, very easy to access, even for the mini-bus, American School-bus, or the converted Car. For, the travelers, bicycle tent, rather, towards the middle, on the grass. Small tables and pallet chairs are at your disposal. We can drink aperitif in a small pallet bar.

The sanitary facilities

WC, dry, and yes we are in the middle of nature, leaves of vines near. I have Water, but it is not consumable, it can be used to fill the tanks of the showers, or to rinse your bikes, it is used to fill the solar showers. At only 5mn Duchamp, there is a Blue Float relay to drain and fill up with drinking water as well as to empty your camper van toilets. I solemnly ask you to respect the place and to protect the nature. For the schedules, I will communicate them to you by telephone.

The amenities

Water, but not consumable. And soon solar electricity. For people who travel by bike, I can charge your phones on my motorhome, solar equipment without any problem. Here, AuChamp, we have 4G+ . Tables and benches in Palette. For the ball field, it is under construction.

The activities

Horseback riding, two riding schools nearby : riding in the pine forest, they are very well equipped in structure. Nearby : Paragliding, karting, 20mn, river, 15mn, 5mn Canal du Midi. Numerous restaurants along the Canal and 20mn away. Good wine is sold at the Ouveillan cooperative in moderation. A small aerodrome is located less than 20mn away, for airplane rides. The village of Ouveillan is 2km away, small organic store, wine cooperative, grocery/tobacco store, doctor, midwife, pharmacy, etc... We have a beautiful church with an incredible Crystal Cross discovered during its renovation. When it's too crowded at the seaside... Come and rest at AuChamp.

Other things

I am a camper myself, I have traveled all over Portugal, the Tour of Spain, the Tour of Italy, Germany etc ... Very good experience, today it is me who receives you at my place, AuChamp

Situation
  • Patricia received us very well for this one night in the middle of winter, so it's hard to judge the site which was "not ready" as Patricia doesn't receive guests in winter.
On the other hand, given its location and layout, it must be very pleasant at other times of the year.

  • Very good stopover at Patricia's! We had a great time in seclusion among the vines and animals!

  • Really top location. Rejuvenating with a great welcome.

  • We were warmly welcomed by Patricia, and were delighted to meet her. The field offers a very pretty setting between fruit trees, olive trees and animals. We highly recommend this homecamper!

  • Great place and excellent welcome!

  • Very pleasant stopover! The ground is arranged with a lot of charm. Patricia is very welcoming, we will return with pleasure.

  • A big thank you for this great welcome Patricia ????????
My tribe thanks you for opening the doors to this beautiful and authentic Roots nature setting, as we like them ????
A place where you feel at home, and far from everything ✨✨✨????????

  • Great experience at Patricia's, a great welcome! A location in the middle of the vineyards, where it is good to be!
The children enjoyed taking care of the animals and being able to ride their bikes.
    Thanks again!

  • A place full of charm, tranquility and greenery.
We really had the key to the field
    A lovely host
    A great breakfast
    Nothing to say
    It's really worth the detour
    Not to be missed

  • I had the honor of being Patricia's first home camper, and this little paradise will welcome many more, believe me.
Don't hesitate if you're in the area, or do as I did: make a detour to get a closer look. Patricia's description of her place is good, you can trust her.
Ink thank you for your warm welcome!
