Description

We invite you to come and relax and enjoy the place, the region and the activities we develop in the framework of our project which mixes alternative agriculture and well-being, in our permaculture organic pedagogical farm.

The setting

Located on the heights of a medieval city, a major trading center in the Middle Ages, Le Chant des Graines has a beautiful meadow of one hectare, partly cultivated, and a forest of 8000m². We have a farmyard of old breed "Gris du Vercors" as well as market gardening (micro-mariculture) which aims at developing innovative techniques of cooperation with the living (biodiversity!).
Quite quiet but there are some neighbors around.
The campsite is located on the edge of the forest, next to the yurts (used for yoga practice, school groups, and events) and sanitary facilities.

The spots

The pitches are hidden in the forest and its edge, planned for 1, 2 or 3 tents, you will then be discreetly immersed in a natural setting. For small vehicles, you will have a space between the edge and the meadow, sunny in the morning, shaded in the afternoon.

The sanitary facilities

Today the sanitary facilities consist of a space with a dry toilet and a place planned for a future shower (in progress).
While waiting for the installation of this shower, you can come and enjoy the bathroom of our house!

The amenities

Possibility to use the electricity of the big yurt outside of class hours.
Wifi near the camping area (around our house).
Roket cooker available (wood cooking).

The activities

On site you will have access to yoga classes offered by Caroline in the large yurt, you can enjoy an Ayurvedic massage or a Japanese facial in the small yurt.
You can also visit the educational farm with Vincent who will be happy to share with you permaculture, or participate in a botanical walk, or offer workshops (gardening, cosmetics ...) ... It is also possible to book a half-day cosmetic workshop in advance.

We provide board games if you wish!
You can also visit the beautiful medieval city of Crémieu or walk on the heights to discover its magnificent ramparts...
The Ursulines brewery will warmly welcome you to taste its beer, and many restaurants will open their doors to you!
You will be able to appreciate the lake of Vénérieu a few kilometers from Crémieu, if you need to refresh yourself in case of strong heat...

Other things

You will be able to buy the products of the farm according to availability (vegetables, eggs, transformed products...)

Animals are accepted only if they are kept on a leash so as not to disturb the chickens and crops.

Rules

The biggest rule at Le Chant des Graines is respect for living beings, human or not.
Once unloaded, we ask that you park your vehicles in the parking spaces located at the entrance of the site, and for the equipped vehicles, please make sure to move them as little as possible. Vehicle access only from 8am to 10pm.

Children are welcome!!! But they are under the responsibility of their companions.

Attention this is a BRUNCH and not a breakfast!
Organic plate of season and local products: mesclun or green salad, soft-boiled egg, toast, cheese, fruit salad, vegetable yogurt, nuts, muesli, honey, cake-impro, fruit juice, hot drink!
