Description

West of Cherbourg, in a rural area but 8km from the city and the coast by small roads or paths. Cherbourg is the northern limit of the English Channel by bike, on the EV4. Sea and beaches accessible by bike. Large lawn to be quiet without being isolated. The ideal place to rest your legs and then go enjoy the North Cotentin.

The setting

Lawn at the back of our house. Your closest neighbors will be the birds and our 5 chickens. Land bordered by 1 field and 2 neighbors that we never see.

The spots

You will be able to choose your place on the 1000m2 of flat land surrounded by flowers, trees and my small vegetable garden. The sun shines around the house and you will find shade under our trees, shelter if it rains under our covered area and tables all around the house.

The sanitary facilities

Access to our property is very easy by bike (we travel by bike very often). The schedules will be determined together, with the appropriate flexibility for travelers by bike. Dry toilets, electric plug, cold water in free use (without abuse, attention to the planet).

The amenities

Electric kettle available for loan. Campfire/barbecue, games for children and adults: swing, sandbox, ping pong table with loan of rackets, petanque field with loan of balls, table soccer, "lazy" chairs to relax your poor legs, parasol, outdoor tables and chairs.

The activities

You will be at 8km by bike from the center of Cherbourg and the sea : restaurants, shopping, sea city (with visit of 1 submarine), castle, bike ride along the coast.
Go see the stars at Ludiver (5km), the nose of Jobourg, the dunes of Biville, the botanical garden of Vauville, the port of Goury...

Other things

We are cyclists, mountain bikers, runners, campers, I started cycling in 2020. We will have something to talk about if you are interested.

Rules

No cigarette butts or litter on the lawn. Use of dry toilets. Barbecue in the designated area.
Vegetable waste in the compost, the others in the garbage cans provided.
Music in respect of the neighbors.
