Description

At our garden in "Riudecanyes", you will experience the magic of being outdoors in contact with the 4 elements, sounds and smells part of nature thanks to the spacious Canvas-tent, you will enjoy be surrounded by high trees, be able to grill your own food on a barbecue and make a campfire by night for fun. All this while sleeping on a regular bed, having a kitchen, a dry-toilet /shower close, and your car safely parked inside the property.

The setting

Big Glamping tent in a oasis of lush green vegetation: pines and holm oaks, sounds of mostly birds singing, no traffic close, secluded area, occasionally the sound of a train passing by and dog-bark, most quietness, no light pollution at night, can star gaze.

The spots

18 square meters of Canvas Camp tent, 2 individual beds, ceramic wood stove, little porch with table and chairs.

The sanitary facilities

dry toilet, wash-basin and out-doors sun-heat shower.

The amenities

internet on the parking area, full equipped kitchen, electricity. I provide an extension cord if needed to the tent.

Situation

  • Me and my boyfriend had a great experience at Vanessa’s camping! The tent was nice and roomy enough for all our bags. A small personal kitchen is available for the guests. Vanessa and her parents were very friendly, flexible and helpful: she showed us great walking routes on Wikiloc, nice places to visit and eat, and fixed a minor issue with the fridge by offering to store our food in her private fridge until she bought cooling elements in the store. Of course the shower and toilet are very basic, but we believe that’s part of the camping experience. Small tip: bring anti musquito spray!!! ;)

  • Vanessa and her mom are very nice hosts and very good hospitality. The tent was comfortable with good mattresses. On the other hand it would be necessary to make some improvements at the level of the sanitary. The shower is outside, it is a hose with a nozzle. No door for the dry toilet. Lack of equipment for the kitchen, no working fridge. Noise pollution, we hear the train passing and claxonne very often as well as the barking of dogs
