Located a stone's throw from the Pompeii ruins and the circumvesuviana, it has 50 pitches all equipped with high-power electrical connection, water and drainage in the pitch.

Situation

  • We booked 3 nights with them. We had the wrong dates and they were very accommodating in rescheduling our arrival! They are welcoming and pleasant.

    However, when we arrived, we were surprised to find that we didn't have hot water included in our booking, despite the fact that it says they have shower service. There is a charge for this, 50 cents every 3 minutes.

    Be careful too, as the campsite is very noisy (festivities next door finished at 1 a.m., neighbors' dogs barking all night).
    No shade on the tent pitch, so in the middle of August we were very hot...
    And we were invaded by ants! They were getting into our tent and it was very unpleasant...

  • Great location in Pompeii, but the plots are very small, and the toilets and showers are in the same room, so you have to wait for someone to finish their shower before you can go pee... And only 4 toilets for all the plots is really not enough.
    Nice unobstructed view of Vesuvius though.
    On the other hand, this is a very, very noisy place: a dog on the neighbouring plot barked all night long and two fireworks were set off by campers at 00:30. In short, this is a place to be avoided by anyone seeking peace and quiet.

  • A culturally well-placed spot in Pompeii, not too far from Vesuvius and Pompeii's archaeological sites. The site is clean and the sanitary facilities are quite new and spacious, but you have to pay €2 for a hot shower. Very, very noisy place...for peace and quiet go elsewhere.

  • If you are looking for a quiet place, go away. We stayed two nights in tents there, the only advantage was the cheap price. The place is surrounded by dogs that bark ALL night long, the helicopter kept landing and taking off on the camping on a sunday morning, kids were playing around our tents at 11pm.
    On top on of that we had to pay for hot water in bathrooms that are constantly flooded.

  • We were very well received by Giovanni's family and on top of that we were offered a glass of limoncello on our arrival.
