Description

La Caille is a self-managed hamlet that hosts a collective of artists, artisans and creators. There is room to pitch many tents in a quiet and bucolic setting.

The setting

Being in the countryside, La Caille is a quiet and private place. You can hear the songs of the birds, the stream, the sheep and the chickens.

The spots

There are many fields as well as shady spots to pitch your tent.

The sanitary facilities

We provide dry toilets near the camp site. There is also a shower in the main house.

The amenities

There is no telephone network on the site. Perhaps an opportunity to escape from the daily grind?
Barbecues are allowed, and the kitchen can be made available.
There is no electricity at the camp site, but wifi and electricity are available in the house.

The activities

The Brame, a river that runs many mills, passes through the property. There is a canoe available for a quiet ride along the water.

Other things

La Caille is 2km/30 minutes walk from Le Dorat. This cute little village has a supermarket and a train station with good connections. There are also bars, restaurants, a pharmacy and a cinema. A small market of local products is held every Thursday evening.
