Description

Private campsite with RV that sleeps 4 comfortably (or 10 uncomfortably) located on private fishing brook within 2 miles of Dock Square, Kennebunkport, 3 miles to sandy beach on the ocean. Camp Site offers swimming hole with sandy beach. Private parking for 3 cars. 2 firepits: 1 at brook; 1 at RV. Bathroom, shower and kitchen and bathrooms sinks tied to filtered, clean, non-potable water. Full RV Kitchen, LR, DR, MBR and 2 double-bed bunks. Sound system, No TV but Internet and wifi.

Three night minimum. Weekly rate available. The one acre parcel has the RV and parking on the high ground with gentle slope to the brook and pond area. Only neighbors are beavers. Across street is a campground. This site is ideal for family getaway to Southern Maine.

The setting

1 acre rolling hill to brook. Open sunny grassy lawn by brook. Tree cover at the RV. Brook occasionally visited by trout fishermen. Brook and pond area swimmable and provides a sandy beach. While it is a private site it is near to the road and other residences that cannot be seen from the lower brook area. Nonetheless, the place is very quiet and late night parties need to be likewise, quiet.

The spots

2015 RV Bunkhouse sleeps 10. but 4 comfortably. Kitch, LR, DR,MBR, bathroom with shower and tiny tub. Tenting available.

The sanitary facilities

Shower/ kitchen and bathroom (gray and blackwater) flushes to code approved holding tank. Hot water included. Water is not potable, however.

The amenities

Full RV kitch/bath, internet, music system, fishing from your own land, swimming hole, Zip line with waivers, off street parking. Beaver, muskrat, deer, fish. Privacy. Electricity, garbage pick up, septic system, Clean filtered nonpotable water, 2 fire pits, waterview/front. sandy beach across creek also part of the rental. Kids dream getaway to nature. No TV.

The activities

Kennebunkport...say no more. Beaches, boating, whale watch, shopping, and restaurants and bars of the rich and infamous. Old Orchard Beach amusement rides 20 min north. Ogunquit 30 min south. Portland 45 min north. Boston 1.5 hr. south.

3 miles to eastern bike trail.

Rules

Treat the place like it was your home in your neighborhood.
Children and pets to be under direct supervision.
Sound down 11pm.
Bring own linen and towels.
No smoking in RV
No zip line use without waiver and indemnification.
