Description

We welcome you to Normandy, in Bretteville en Saire, a small seaside village 15 minutes from Cherbourg by car. With its uninterrupted sea view, the plot borders the tourist road. Just cross the road and walk a few meters to swim at the Bretteville beach. Lovely walks are possible along the seafront or in the countryside.

The setting

The area is quiet, but the tourist road is busy, especially in the early morning and late afternoon.
The 3 fir trees lining the property, the view and the sound of the sea are the highlights of this location.

The spots

The plot is flat. It is accessed via a roadside gate, giving independent access. It is currently fenced on 2 sides. It adjoins the main plot of our house.

The sanitary facilities

Across the road, the beach's sanitary facilities are accessible free of charge. There's an outdoor shower.
Cold water is also available from our plot outside the house.

The amenities

Electricity can be supplied for 4 euros via an extension lead from the house. Payment for electricity is made outside Homecamper and must be settled at the beginning of your stay.
Internet access via Wi-Fi near the house on request, free of charge.

The activities

- In the commune of Bretteville, walking, hiking, swimming, fishing, children's playground. Foot truck in summer every evening and at weekends right in front of the field.
- 10 minutes by car, water sports center (sailing and canoeing), indoor swimming pool.
- 15 minutes away, Cherbourg: city center, Thursday and Saturday market, Cité de la mer (sea city).
- Nearby, visit Val de Saire and La Hague.
- A little further afield, the D-Day beaches, Sainte Mère Église, Mont-Saint-Michel

Rules

It is essential not to disturb the two families living on either side of the plot by remaining discreet.

Possibility of breakfast (€4 / person)

European breakfast: tea, coffee, chocolate milk, orange juice, bread, butter, jam, honey.

Tent ready

I can lend tents for 2 people and mattresses. For 5 euros per night per tent, I'll set them up and inflate the mattresses. I can also lend camping chairs and a table.
