Description

Welcome to our family house with tufa stones, typical of the region dating from the 17th century where I live with my little cat Pétrus. I like my stays to be convivial.... Simple, like a friend's house.

The setting

I am ideally located, in a small town 10 minutes from Tours (5 kilometers from downtown Tours). There are many castles to visit like Villandry, Amboise....Cultural city, history, good wines, Vouvray, Chinon.... Touraine the gardens of France.
I am also at 900 meters (3 minutes) of the exit of the A 10 which makes Paris Bordeaux (exit n*23, Chambray les Tours, Saint Avertin, paying. Otherwise exit n*22, Saint Avertin, not paying, down my street).

The spots

I have a large lot you will have room. Flat land, with trees for shade. Easy access.

The sanitary facilities

The toilets are in a small outbuilding, with the kitchen. Possibility of shower with hose heated by the sun, opposite. For several nights it is possible to have a bathroom with shower in my house, depending on the duration of your stay.

The amenities

I have a rustic summer kitchen, in an outbuilding. Garden with barbecue, garden table, parasols etc... no hot water in the kitchen but a small kettle. Various (email hidden)Plates, glasses, cutlery, pots, pans .....). Electricity connection as well as an uncoiler are at your disposal, electric plug easily accessible.
Good internet access.

The activities

There are many cultural activities such as castles, hiking on the hillsides to Rochecorbon which overlooks the city of Tours.

I welcome animals as long as they are not naughty.
I prefer that you do not arrive after 8-9pm.
Respect for the environment and the neighborhood is important.
No fires please. Smoking accepted

  • The stay at Emma was very good. Emma is a very friendly person and the place to stay is wonderful. We had the possibility to use a little kitchen and a great room, if the weather is really bad. But we don't know bad wetter ;-)) The only problem is a leak at the toilet , it is not really to use.
    But all other things were super.
