Description

Large garden close to Cambridge city centre, CB1. Camping space for tents, a 4 berth caravan to hire or rent a tent!

The setting

Large garden with room for tents, a shelter for cooking. We are next to a train line with trains running every 30 minutes but not overnight.
There is also a 4 berth caravan that can be hired.
The garden overlooks fields, there is a little woodland area. Fires and bbq are permitted.
We are about 5 miles from the city centre, with excellent transport links and we can provide FREE bicycle or electric scooter hire.

The spots

Camping spaces are in our back garden. The ground is mostly flat.
We recommend you stay in the caravan in the winter, it can get very cold.

The sanitary facilities

We have taps available outside.
There is a composting toilet.
The bathroom with hot showers and a washing machine are inside our house, we are happy for guests to use these facilities when we are at home.

Tea and coffee making facilities in covered gazebo outside.
We will provide kitchen ware/bbq for cooking outside.
Campfire with free wood.
FREE bicycle hire can be arranged.
Board games, books and maps.
5 minutes walk to supermarket.
We will cook breakfast if requested.

The activities

We are close to Cambridge city centre which can be explored by bicycle or on foot.
There are nice walks nearby.
Enjoy relaxing in the garden, we have swings, hammocks, picnic table and seating outside.
Garden games like badminton available.

Other things

We can arrange bicycle hire, when possible you can hire our own bikes and we also have 2 electric scooters to borrow. We do not charge for this.

Extras

Possibility of breakfast (£5 / person)

Croissants, cereals, toast, fruit juice, tea and coffee.
We can provide a cooked breakfast on request.

Tent ready

We have a 4 berth caravan or we can provide a rent a tent option. One small tent for 1-2 persons or 1 bigger tent for 4 people. We have some self inflating air mattresses, sleeping bags, torches and lamps to use.

  • How to explain my stay with my few english Words , that was amazing, warm welcome, open minded, lot of discussion. Nice alternative visit of Cambridge with bicycle and wonderful meal, and exceptionnel breakfast.
    recommend without hesitation and for sure i would go back and would Cook for them with my regionnal meal.
    Now they are my New english friend
