Hugo W.Fred welcomed me for a few days on his land, where I was able to pitch my tent in a quiet spot. The host provides a dry toilet (a real plus in my opinion, even if it ends up in the normal garbage can...) and a shower, which really makes a difference after a day's cycling or surfing. Fred and his wife were very friendly and accommodating when I wanted to extend my stay.
The commune in which the site is located is not completely connected to the cycle path to Cap Breton, so you'll need to plan a little detour with some road sections, as well as mosquito repellent - yes, there are a lot of them ????.
I really recommend these hosts if you ever want to enjoy the coast. This was my first home-camping experience and I'll be back at Fred's with great pleasure! Many thanks ☀️ -

10 minutes from Capbreton or Hossegor (excluding summer traffic ????).
All necessary amenities for us van travelers.
