Description

Treat yourself to a place in the paradise I've created and share with you.
Drop off your camper van, van, tent, etc., for an unforgettable moment immersed in a lush botanical garden, a harmless immersive jungle where its adorable inhabitants: Bengal cats, dwarf goats, giant dogs, alpacas, pigs, etc., are within your reach to be observed and petted if you wish. Come and get a change of scenery while being only 1km from the city!

The setting

Surrounded by magnificent, lush vegetation, this exotic setting is home to a wide variety of animals, each more gentle than the last, and offers the chance to get up close and personal with them for unforgettable, privileged moments...
Huge outdoor space for eating out, strolling around and enjoying the exotic garden with its palm trees, Zen statues, small 300m2 artificial beach and soothing calm...

The spots

Make way for the shade of the palm trees, with of course the sun shining, so it's not in the shade all day, but for the most part.
The land/garden is flat, but there is a small dip at the entrance to the estate, which to this day has never had any vehicles enter except for very low sports cars.
It's easy to access, any size can drive in and park, but if you're really an xxl camper van, you'll have to back out for about 20m.

The sanitary facilities

Accessible 24 hours a day from the outside, but in the shelter of my house: full shower with hot and cold water, sink with cold water, and separate toilet.

The amenities

The electrical station is outside and easy to access, so you can plug in whatever you want. I can lend you an extension cord if you need one.

The activities

Don't hesitate to ask about the extra activity on offer: visit to an exotic educational farm.

Situated on a slightly secluded estate for maximum peace and quiet, just a few dozen meters from the Canal du Midi, with easy access to the riverbank.
Only 1.5km from the post office and market square!
Easy access to town via the departmental road, just 3km from the town center.
Several beaches around 7km from the estate.
Aqualand is 6km away, as are several theme parks: Luna Park Europark, etc.
All the conveniences of the city with all the advantages of a little corner apart in an idyllic setting to relax and enjoy.

Other things

I live and work on the estate, so I'm always available if needed.

You may come across other people on the estate: guests (bed and breakfast, campers), visitors to the educational farm...

Your vehicle(s) will be kept on the secure fenced grounds, so your belongings are safe here.

New arrivals are welcome from 3pm to 10pm.
If you need to arrive outside this time slot, please ask me by message if this is feasible.

Rules

  • We enjoy the stay at this beautyful, but different place. The Garden was realy wonderful, many animals are living in the garden too. There are 5 lange free-rooming dogs who have been looking after us. At Times there was an adventures soundscape.
The sanitäre facilities are unfortunaly ineed of major improvement and not clean.

  • good stay, even if we do not have the same ethical values of animal protection ... we were quite busy so we communicated very little. We simply put our food shopping in the communal fridge and some food disappeared .... there were other campers who could help themselves it's true (one asked us if she could buy us milk??) , there are lots of animals so lots of smells especially in the toilets... and lots of noises from lots of different animals in the morning . the entrance gate is really not practical to open and close
but for the price, it's still a decent place for a stopover.

  • Very beautiful right, very exotic. A tropical setting. The proximity of the animals adds to the escape.

  • 2 days and 2 nights spent at Amandine's, whom we thank for her kindness and welcome. Take the time to chat with her, she'll have tons of anecdotes to tell you, her energy is overflowing (we still wonder when she rests????), the setting is superb, and the animals are each nicer than the next. Bonne continuation aux animaux de fairytale and maybe see you next year????

  • Lots of positive things to say:
The pitching area is superb, with fine sand, palm trees, Buddhas... the flower beds are very pretty and provide plenty of shade.
The terrace is furnished with beautiful tables and a huge plane tree shelters us.
The animals feel right at home, and you can tell they're all ultra-friendly and cute.
The location is top-notch, far from the hustle and bustle but close to everything. What's more, it's very easy to find.
The surrounding cycle paths make it a perfect spot for cycle touring.
The visit to the educational farm is interesting and immersive, Amandine tells lots of funny anecdotes about her babies and all the animals are delighted to be petted.
In my opinion, the biggest plus point is for the children. There's no need to worry, they're looked after by the animals, which gives you real quiet time!
There's a fridge for our meals and a real shower (hot, of course! ????) to keep you clean after the beach or sports. And there's plenty of light for late nights.
    On the downside :
there's no space for cooking and washing up, even when you've got the equipment, it's complicated.
The sanitary facilities are a little worn and not very clean.
In short, if you're a little fussy and want to be able to enjoy home-made meals on the property, opt for Amandine's mobile homes, which are very well equipped.
A stopover at Fairytale is well worth the detour; families and animal lovers will be delighted.
I'd also like to add that the cosy, warm atmosphere meant we were able to spend some great evenings with our tent neighbors, the magic of Homecamper ????

  • We had a very nice stay. Very nice and quiet place. Amandine is a very friendly person, welcoming and passionate about animals. We were able to make a very rewarding visit to this beautiful place. Thanks again to Amandine

  • After spending a few nights at Amandine's, there were a number of things to note...
Positive points: Top tent location in the sand, plenty of space...!
For animal lovers. Go for it! You'll soon be immersed in an atmosphere where animals, especially big baby dogs, are there to cuddle you...
Located far from the hustle and bustle of agde. You're in a quiet place.
Negative points: too bad it wouldn't take much to make it perfect, but the sanitary/shower area is unfortunately not maintained and you can't be too delicate (lack of hygiene).
No kitchen area, so you have to wash up in an inconvenient sink...
Amandine is a great person who really loves animals, but in my opinion, just a little effort on this side would be essential for this home camper to be perfect!
Ps: we met a lot of nice people and had some great evenings. .

  • Amandine has already communicated in advance so that we could arrive completely without problems. She was personally immediately on site and has welcomed us friendly and showed us her gorgeous site with all the animals and great plants. The place was perfect for our passage, but it would have been worthwhile to stay longer. Thank you Amandine! See you next time.

  • Super stay
Amandine is adorable, a good listener and passionate about animals.
Far from the crowds, rest assured, tranquility
If we come back to the area we won't hesitate to come and see you again Amandine, thank you so much for everything.

  • Very pleasant stay with Amandine and her little animal troupe. Woken up every day by a cuddle from Diaval, the black and white Newfoundland. The grounds are just heavenly. I'll be back with pleasure. Thank you, Amandine.

  • Amandine is very friendly, the place where you can pitch your tent is very pretty, and if you like animals, this is the place to go.
The only downside is that the price doesn't match the place, and the sanitary facilities are old (but still passable) but dirty!
All week long, we've had places that were much cheaper and spotless.
Too bad, otherwise it would be perfect.

  • we booked a week in a tent to enjoy the calm and sunshine before the start of our season.
in the end, we would have liked to extend our stay in Agde by a few days. the setting is superb and very soothing, with animals each more adorable and cute than the next. a real little paradise with a warm and attentive host, we had a superb week.
A great week in a beautiful setting with friendly people, the animals are adorable, if you love animals this is paradise! ???? Hope to see you soon!

  • As advertised. Welcome and pleasant stay.

  • I spent a night and two days at Amandine's, and I wish I could have stayed there forever.
Amandine, for one. Overflowing with energy. She single-handedly created this little paradise and runs it to perfection. I have a lot of admiration for her. She lets you have your autonomy, yet is never far away when you need her.
The 4 bear dogs. A patou, a terre-neuve, an alabaï and a saint-bernard. They're all sweethearts. They roam the estate, you can sleep on them and the kids love them. In fact, they're more cuddly than dogs.
Bengal cats. Each one more beautiful than the next, mini panthers. Some of them are veterans of the kennel, and you can pet them to your heart's content.
The menagerie? I don't know how else to put it, there are so many different species. From memory, but I'm sure I'll forget some: geese, chickens, goats (free-range), ponies, horses, camels (and baby camels), buffalo, zebus, cows, donkeys, pigs, alpacas and more. And you can cuddle almost everyone! And they cuddle you too! There's nothing wild about them, and when Amandine (the mother) is present, they let you touch them like big cuddly toys.
The setting. On the banks of the Canal du Midi. 2 min by car from Agde, 5 by bike. I pitched my tent on a patch of white sand surrounded by palm trees, next to a reclining Buddha.
The vegetation of the Zen botanical garden is lush and dotted with small and large statues of small Shaolin monks. Tables for relaxing and chatting with the estate's various tenants. A real shower (not like those on campsites). Two mobile homes.
And despite the 70 or so animals, everything is clean and tidy.
I came by bike with a full load. I never locked my bike or my tent. The dogs act as bodyguards.
Amandine also organizes visits to see some of her animals that she can't leave "within reach" of strangers (us). It lasts 2 hours, and it's a great opportunity to learn more about all those animals we only see on TV or in zoos. She knows them by heart and they trust her completely.
In short, I can't wait to go back and I highly recommend this place. My commentary is a little long, but I really want to get across just how exceptional this place is.
I've been to a whole bunch of home campers and none of them were up to the standard of this little earthly paradise.

  • Super welcome, the place is great, Amandine has her heart on her sleeve she loves to share her place of life and her love of animals.

  • Short stay but very pleasant and a change of scenery. We recommend it for a break from everyday life!

  • Amandine has a beautiful wooded area to get away from it all.

  • We were welcomed by Amandine and her animals, each one as adorable as the other. Amandine is a beautiful person who loves to share her passion. An experience not to be missed!

  • We spent an incredible weekend in the company of amazing animals, Amandine is very attentive to them and her campers, the green setting is very nice and Amandine has an extraordinary power of transmission to talk about her daily life, her protégés, her life permanently by their side, the devotion she has for her funny animals forces admiration.

  • Three unforgettable days in Amandine's ark where happy animals live, accustomed to cuddles, under the benevolent gaze of the deities and stone Buddhas who inhabit her small Asian garden.
A great respect and a deep admiration to this beautiful person.

  • Amandine is a passionate young woman who transmits her passion to us. The vegetation, the numerous animals, participate in a delicious moment out of time

  • Very nice place in the middle of the animals. A very friendly and welcoming host. A small drawback, the cleanliness of the toilets.
My son keeps an excellent memory of this place

  • Amandine's educational farm and botanical garden is the perfect place for people who like simple and warm places where animals are kings and where everything is thought for a stay full of cuddles and licks for who takes the time.
The geographical situation allows everyone to go to all kinds of varied activities.
Amandine is a passionate person and involved to the maximum in this universe that she thought from A to Z.

  • Perfect welcome, magical place in the middle of animals and a great setting. Electricity, shower, table, fridge, microwave everything is there to ensure an excellent stay. I recommend 100%.

  • A beautifully landscaped garden! Amandine is welcoming and willing to share her love for animals and nature. We were on a beach under the coconut trees for one night. All amenities are present. We had a very good stay.

  • A very good stay at Amandine's educational farm. Amandine is a caring host and concerned about the well-being of everyone. She is passionate about her job, the animals are lucky to have her.

  • Great welcome, perfect setting, a place where you feel good and expected, I recommend 100%.

  • Very nice adventure among the animals and the beach scenery, a remarkable work. Amandine was very welcoming, she is present and available and passionate about her work.
We will keep a very good memory of this stay! We will come back for sure!
A big thank you Amandine, you are at the top ! Do not change anything! Good continuation to vs! Thanks a lot for all !!!

  • Amandine is a person who gives herself to 3000% for her animals and her guests and it is felt, it is a person so adorable we stayed there one night but we spent a very good time with her, it is good to recharge in this little corner of paradise with all its animals, do not hesitate to pass there to rest, thank you Amandine good continuation and do not change anything to the pleasure of seeing you again

  • We felt rejuvenated in this haven of peace. The animals are all very well behaved. Amandine is kind and knows how to put her campers at ease. We had an unforgettable stay where the human and animal encounters were very enriching. Amandine and Philippe form a welcoming team with whom we enjoyed exchanging and laughing. The place is very well maintained and warm.
A change of scenery and a good mood guaranteed!

  • Perfect week in Amandine's camping.

Amandine is very attentive to her guests, the setting is beautiful, and the animals are all very endearing. I was very comfortable throughout my week.

I would come back without hesitation, you can go there with your eyes closed!

  • We only stayed one night with my boyfriend and that's enough to feel at home!
We were very well received in this place full of life, whether by Amandine or her animals. The garden is very nice, congratulations to Amandine to have created this little paradise !
We will come back without any problem ????

  • Very nice reception in an environment full of various animals, ideal for children

  • Amandine takes care of her guests and their comfort
She and her companions came to welcome us, she was available and welcoming
We were on the small beach, we had our privacy, well defined.
There is a sanitary, a sink, a shower and a fridge available
The place is superb and well maintained Amandine puts her heart and energy into it
There are many species to discover and Amandine is passionate about them
