Description

Settled for 14 years in the mountains of Aubrac, in the middle of the forest, in a valley with a breathtaking view, I live in the respect of what nature offers me, by inspiring me with its creativity!

I have created several flat camping spaces for tents in the middle of the forest. The water is to be transported from my home to the camping areas.

You can put a van, the location is closer to my house, with a splendid view on the valley and the river Truyère.

The setting

The forest is all around, a small stream crosses the land and there is a river in the valley. The nature, the birds give rhythm to the days. There are several starting points for hikes and many small villages to visit around.

The spots

I have created several flat camping spaces for tents in the middle of the forest.
We can put a van, the location is closer to my house.
Two places deeper in the forest for a 4x4.

The sanitary facilities

Dry toilet on the field.

A common building (the Castle) with a kitchen: sink, gas oven and 4 hotplates, fridge/freezer and all kitchen utensils.

For a shower, you can use mine in the house if it is not daily (I ask a little extra). There is also a solar shower with a view over the valley.

Wi-fi connection (2Mb) in the common building.

The activities

To be one with nature. Hikes and many villages to visit. According to the time of passage, and your desires, there can be small blows of hand, garden, vegetable garden, stroll of the donkeys, creation of bread and pizzas, gatherings of aromatic plants...

Other things

The access to my place is a forest track and the last km of the track is gravelled.

Rules

Follow the rhythm of nature.
Be aware of smoking and fire during dry periods.
Leave no trace except your impressions.

Swimming in the river is not allowed, the water can rise in seconds due to the water plant further upstream.
However, there are opportunities for swimming.
