Description

In the heart of the Sidobre region, we make our land available and there's no shortage of space!
It's a hamlet. We're restoring an old farmhouse and an outbuilding.

It's a very rural place. A change of scenery and a return to our roots guaranteed!

Access is via a dirt track (see photos). Tractors can get through, and so can my car.

I'm not sure I can provide enough electrical power for air-conditioned campers, as I only have a 3 Kwatt meter.

The setting

There's no noise here, apart from the neighbor's rooster singing a little. We're in the middle of nature.

Occasionally, we are lucky enough to spot a deer or a hare.

The spots

The plot was 7000 m², so there's plenty of room. It's tree-lined. The ideal spot is under the apple tree (pictured with the garden gnome), which provides shade all day long.

The sanitary facilities

The toilets and showers can be used at traditional times when we are on site - 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The amenities

An extension cord is available in the field.
There is 4G.
You can fill your canteen or bottle at the house tap.
Tanks will be filled with well water.

The activities

Nearby, you can discover the town of Lacaune les Bains and its delicious charcuterie.

Wonderful rocks: La Peyro Clabado, Le Roc de L'oie, Le Chapeau du Curé, Le Rocher Tremblant des Sept Faux, Le Chaos de la Balme, Le Lac du Merle, le Saut de la Truite.
Brassac: its medieval heart, the basket gallery, the château...
Burlats: Adélaïde pavilion, St Pierre collegiate church...
Ferrières: Protestant museum
Lacaze: château and St Jean del Frech chapel
Lacrouzette: Espace Jean Cros, the statue of the granite cutter, Lacrouzette church, Jacques Bourges workshop...
Le Bez: Moulin du record and the Sidobre house in Vialavert.

There are many local honey producers in the area.

Outstanding
  • We were Christelle first visitors and also for us it was our first experience with homecamper. But we had a great time, Christelle welcomed us warmly at her very special spot. We even had dinner together! We used the toilet, shower and watertap in her house and put our tiny caravan in her garden. The latter was a bit of an issue because of the turns we had to make, but finally we managed. After two nights it felt like saying goodbye to good friends!
