Description

Its an old abandoned dairy farm on ancient moorland. There are centuries old oak trees on site and a very biodiverse moor national park next by with vipers, cranes, beavers, wolves and many other bird, plant and insect species. On site there is a large vegetable garden, a sweatlodge, a mobile sauna, shooting range and home gym.

The setting

You will be camping in the shade of large oak trees with a view of the dutch countryside on one side and ancient moorland on the other side. There is a road about 100 metres away but at night it is completely silent and dark.

The sanitary facilities

We can provide a long hose with water. You can shower and use the toilet in the house.

The amenities

We dont have wifi. We have an outdoor kitchen based on fire. You can cook on a small wood stove and using a tripod at the fireplace. Wood is avaiable, price to be negotiated.
We can provide a extention cord for electricity.

The activities

The camping spot is in an old oak forest so treeclimbing, bird watching and other types of nature observation are very possible on site. There is a big barn on site with a DJ booth, pingpong, table football and shooting range. There is a big vegetable garden and you can pick some fresh veggies for your meal. There is a possibility for a sweatlodge ceremony on site and also a mobile sauna.
Next to our garden is the large national park Bargerveen which is a hotspot for many endangered species of animals and plants and geomorphological phenomena.

Rules

No trash left anywhere. Including sigarette buds. Also don't trow trash in the fireplace. Keep the doors closed because of the musquitos.

Extras

Possibility of breakfast (€8 / person)

We offer a nice basic breakfast including some baked bread, butter an jam, some yoghurt and granola and some fruit and juice. Dinner is also possible and there we offer a diverse tableau of whatever our vegetable garden is providing.

Tent ready

We have a few small and one big tent for rent including airmatrasses. €5 per person payable on site.
