Description

Location "Croix Morand
A large plot of land located in the village of Saint-Victor-la-Rivière, in the Sancy massif, between the village of Murol (interesting for its castle) and the medieval village of Besse, with beautiful views on the surrounding mountains

The setting

Perfect for a relaxing stay! The land is located a little bit out of the way in a very small village. Amenities (supermarkets, bakery, laundromat...) are 5 minutes away by car, but there is a restaurant in the village, only two or three minutes away by foot!
Around you, meadows, fields, beautiful panoramas, and no cars at all! Sometimes horses will live in the meadow a few meters in front of your tent, and sometimes our pigs will live in their pen further down the field. In short, a perfect place for nature lovers!

The spots

Our 4 pitches are all equipped with an awning and a wooden terrace to allow you to enjoy the outdoors even in case of bad weather, and oriented towards the best viewpoint.
We generally count 1 tent pitch for 2 people, but it is possible to add a second tent on the same pitch for 5 extra euros per person.
You will have at your disposal table and chairs, as well as access to electricity.

The sanitary facilities

The sanitary block includes 2 showers with hot water, 2 dry toilets, 1 external sink for washing dishes.
In order to respect the environment, we ask you to use only natural and ecological products for the showers and the dishes (which can be put at your disposal if you do not have any).

A shared fridge is also available near the sites
Parking is on the street at the end of the lot (free parking, street with very little traffic.
No wifi, but internet and phone reception is generally good.

Within walking distance: many starting points for walks and hikes
5 minutes by car : the village of Murol and its medieval castle
Within 10 minutes drive : The medieval village of Besse, the lake Chambon (walks, beaches, pedal boat, kayak and paddles rentals, our pony rides), the lake Pavin (walks), acrobranche parks, the swimming pool of Saint Nectaire, our equestrian farm and its horse activities
In 15 to 20 minutes by car : the resort of Superbesse (giant tyrolienne, hikes, downhill mountain biking, adventure course, summer sledding...), the valley of Chaudefour and its hikes
A little further, but not too far : la Bourboule, le Mont Dore...
Less than 5 minutes walk away, collection point for household waste and sorting of cardboard/plastic/metal/glass.
