Description

There are separate spots to camp in as well as an area where you can pick your own spot, at this time.

The setting

High desert/low mountains

The spots

Lots of privacy in between spots, and a whole group section down by a seasonal creek.

The sanitary facilities

We are setting up potable toilets and solar showers, along with a common outdoor kitchen area.

We are setting up outdoor portable toilets and solar based outdoor showers .

The activities

A great place for R&R with the Grand Canyon less than 100 miles away, and Sedona is closer.

Rules

No generators after dark.

Smoking in your vehicle; your vehicles have recepticles, and it is safer this way for wild fire management.

Only small to average sized camp fires allowed in designated areas, no large bon fires allowed.

Alcohol consumption in your vehicles. One is safer in their vehicle, just in case you have too much; this is in the middle of a forest, and your vehicle would provide extra safety for you.

(I am striving for a family~friendly place that is good enough for children.)

Please be aware of your surroundings, as this particular camping place is in the forrest.

Thus pets need to be on a leash, and never tethered while alone in the day, or at night while you are there.
Children need to be attended to at all times.

Certain times of the year, there are county wide fire bans...but festive solar lights can be provided to illuminate the evenings.
