We settled in spontaneously at Fabienne's farm and were grateful that it worked out so quickly, even late at night. The hostess was friendly and considerate. However, we must stress that we didn't know exactly what to expect at first, as at the time of our booking there was only one photo of cows and no photos of the actual location or surroundings.
This is a farm. For guests who do not require electricity, it is possible to set up on a meadow. However, if you do need electricity, you end up directly next to an old barn on stony ground, and the location is quite uneven. Compared with our previous experiences on HomeCamper, the pitches were unfortunately less beautiful and welcoming than on other farms.
Since our pitch was right next to the barn, the air was not always pleasant. In addition, the drinking water pipe near the barn seemed to be used for other purposes on the farm and was not very clean.
Despite these points of criticism, we would like to stress that we appreciate the spontaneous possibility of accommodation and that the hostess was friendly. It is possible that the accommodation could be more attractive to other travelers, especially those who appreciate the agricultural atmosphere. By improving the conditions of the pitches and the cleanliness of the drinking water pipe, the overall experience could be even more pleasant for future guests.
