Description

Dry camping only on approximately 10 acres of land.
Camping is next to a pond and fishing is allowed but no guarantee of catching a fish.
A fire ring with some wood is provided.

The setting

Away from the beaten path with quiet solitude. Minimal noise from a highway that is about a mile away. Deer, turkey and other small animals roam the remainder of the land.

The spots

Mowed grassy area located next to pond. Inclined camping area mostly. Several shade trees and can face most directions. Wind farm lights can interfere with nite viewing but one acclimates to them.
Mowed walking path around the entire acreage.

The sanitary facilities

No sanitary facilities available either in the woods or on the grounds. All trash including human waste products must leave with the occupant.

The amenities

No amenities provided as this is dry camping on an area within a farm.

The activities

Quiet camping with animal watching. Several large lakes within a 10 mile radius. Several golf courses within 10 mile radius.

Other things

If you enjoy quiet solitude with nature walks, this is the place for you.

Rules

Smoking is allowed and children must be kept supervised as there is a pond near the camping area.
Access if from 3 PM to 3 PM the following day. For example, you can arrive at 3 PM and must leave by 3 PM the following day unless multiple days are books.
Limit of 3 days onsite with each booking. Multiple concurrent bookings not allowed.
