Description

15' walk from the Pont du Gard, in the heart of nature, on a rocky promontory. A peaceful place. Unique. Overlooking the Voie Verte linking Beaucaire to Uzès.
Ideal for recharging your batteries, hiking and visiting the many outstanding cultural sites in the vicinity (Palais des Papes Avignon, Uzes market, Arènes de Nîmes, Luma, Arles, Port Camargue...).
Close to everything and far from it all!

The setting

This unique site is located in a remarkable natural setting. On a quiet, shady plot of wooded land, with views over the Uzège valley to Mont Aigoual.

The spots

Your accommodation comprises 3 elements: a living room, a bedroom and a bathroom.
Your bedroom is in an independent, bright and insulated "algeco" (16m2), with all modern comforts.
The bedding is new (double bed) and of high quality.
Opposite, your leisure room, still in the Algeco style, with a cosy 30 m2 table, music and reading area.
And finally, your sanitary block.
You'll feel at home in a whole new way.

The sanitary facilities

A well-kept private sanitary block (12 m2). Shower, toilet, washbasin, storage cupboards.
No hot water (good for morale!).

The amenities

A coffee maker, a kettle, some crockery and cutlery, a microwave, a fridge.
Electricity is available inside and outside your accommodation.
Extension cord for recharging bikes and scooters.
No wifi. No internet access.
Linen provided.
Private parking.

The activities

You're ideally located to enjoy both nature and cultural activities on remarkable sites.
Nature: visit the Pont du Gard, swimming and kayaking on the Gardon, GR hiking trails, Via Ferrata.
Culture: Palais des Papes Avignon, Luma in Arles, Arènes de Nîmes, Uzès market.
Cafés concerts (La Grange de Vers...), theater (l'Ombrière in Uzès...), cinema (le Capitole in Uzès...).
Numerous jazz festivals (Nîmes, Avignon, Vauvert, Junas, Sommières, etc.), classical music and dance in summer.
Other: some fine restaurants, starred or not, numerous cellars and intensive bubbling!

  • Superb stay at Joel's place, very close to the bridge, with a magnificent view for waking up to a kfé (or evening aperitif)...
    Very clean and attentive sleeping area, he even welcomed us when we arrived at night, in the heated and lit living room.
