Description

Bohemian hut for a romantic stay in the middle of a large wooded park where you can move freely (vegetable garden, orchard, chickens and goats).
Sleeping in the cabin with the sound of the birds, or the wind, or sitting with the door open and a view on the greenery is a unique experience.

The setting

In a very wooded park with big and old trees more than hundred years old and other recent plantations.
Quiet, in the countryside, the cabin is in a small grove not far from the house, flowery environment, with many birds.
At 20 mn from the sea and the landing beaches.

The spots

Mattress 140x 190 cm comfortable in latex, sheets in linen or natural hemp.
Lighting with two autonomous rechargeable lamps of great autonomy.

The sanitary facilities

Outside in the summer, dry toilets.
In our laundry room in the cool season: shared toilets with independent entrance from outside.

The amenities

The summer kitchen shared with other guests is well equipped with dishes and accessories, fridge, mini oven, microwave, 4 gas burners, kettle, toaster, mixer.
Outside tables, unheated and uninsulated kitchen and only cold water at the sink.
Possibility to heat water in a large pot for the dishes.
Small fireplace (with wood at disposal), barbecue.
Books, guides, board games.
4G power outlets accessible on the ground and in the cabin.
Small washbasin with jerrycan so cold water at the washbasin.
Hot shower with small gas water heater.

The activities

D-Day beaches at 20 mn.
The pretty and lively town of Bayeux at 25 mn.
The Mont St Michel at 1h30 and all the magnificent Cotentin (Manche) at 1h maximum (West and East coasts).
Sea-biking, small fishing ports (Port en Bessin, St Vaast la Hougue, Barfleur, Grandcamp-Maisy), oyster farming.
Paragliding, horseback riding, restaurants, numerous museums on the D-Day landings, Caen Memorial, sewing and dyeing workshops possible on site, upon reservation.

Other things

We enjoy talking with our guests who, in the summer, often have the opportunity to make friendly encounters in the shared kitchen area provided.
The atmosphere is simple and friendly, always respecting the privacy of each guest.
We make ourselves available to our guests to make their stay pleasant.
Saharan tent or rooms in the house in addition if necessary.
Evenings/meals in the country and musicians are welcome with the different guests!

Respect and take care of the equipment at your disposal.
Regularly clean the collective spaces, empty the garbage cans and recyclable glasses.
