Description

We are in the middle of cornfields about 1 1/2 miles outside of Ashton. We have a small dog agility course, but dogs must be on leashes when not using course. Fire pits are available with firewood. We have quiet spaces. We are centrally postitioned between Rochelle, Dixon, Oregon, and Byron.

The setting

We are far enough from town and the highway to enjoy quiet. We are close enough to watch the trains, but not close enough to be awakened by them.

The spots

Our RV spot is is at the beginning of our driveway , it was a off shoot that was installed to keep semis from sinking when it filled from the silo. There are trees to the west and east of the spot and bushes to the south.

The sanitary facilities

We have a dry privy and a handwashing station.
We have set quiet time at 9PM.

The activities

We are just 10 minutes from Chicago Skydiving Center, and it's about the same to Nachusa Grasslands with their buffalo. Franklin Creek Grist Mill and Park is less than 10 minutes from us.
