Description

Welcome to the heart of Alsace, on the wine road, at the foot of the Grand Ballon Vosgien. Our family will be pleased to welcome you to spend a beautiful stay in our region. Ecology is at the center of our preoccupations, that's why we have built our accommodation ecologically and we now wish to develop our garden thanks to HomeCamper. We are looking forward to meet new people and to share our equipment with them.

The setting

Our garden is located at the bottom of our village, at the foot of a magnificent sub-Vosgian hill called the Bollenberg. This hill is known for its Mediterranean fauna and flora thanks to its microclimate. On the other side of the village, the Vosges mountains are rising. The public lighting is cut from 23h to 4h every night. Our garden is entirely raised and closed. It is located at the back of the house, so it is protected from traffic.

The spots

The garden can accommodate up to 8 campers with their tents. It is flat and has both sunny and shady spots.

The sanitary facilities

Campers have access to dry toilets available 24 hours a day. They also have 24-hour access to a shower in our house. Access to conventional sanitary facilities is available on request. The use of the laundry room is possible as well as the living room and the kitchen in case of bad weather.

The amenities

Internet access via fiber is available on the terrace and at the edge of the main house. Electricity is available in the garden and we can provide the necessary extension cords. A wooden picnic table is available as well as a barbecue. Your bicycles will find a shelter in the garage and we have parking spaces available.

The activities

On site, campers will have access to the swimming pool (3mx7m), to play and relaxation equipments for young and old (cabin, slide, swing, hammock, board games, badminton...).
Upon reservation, Morning Yoga sessions are offered by our friend and qualified Hatha Yoga teacher (prices and availability on request).
A playground, a basketball court and a petanque court are all within 5 minutes walking distance.
For nature lovers, many hiking trails marked out by the Vosges Club are accessible directly from the house: dry hills, vineyards, forests or mountains, you will be spoilt for choice. Our street also gives onto the Euro Vélo 5 bicycle path and will allow you to discover the whole region. Two bikes are available on request.
For those who are passionate about the land, the village is located on the wine route, you can discover our many winemakers who will be delighted to show you their farm and taste their wines.
By car, you can easily reach Colmar (its little Venice, its museums), Mulhouse (train city and car museum), Strasbourg (its cathedral, its European Parliament) and the leisure parks : Petit Prince (15min), Ecomusée (15min) and Europapark (1h). Closer to home, all amenities (shops, water sports center, cinema...) are available in Guebwiller.

Other things

We have 3 dogs, one small, one medium and one large. They are very friendly but can bark. On request, they will be moved away from the camping area.

As we are committed to having the lowest possible carbon footprint, we will also ask our campers to come in a spirit of happy sobriety. A meticulous sorting of waste is put in place and a reasonable water management is desired.

Rules

Access to the garden will be possible 24 hours a day with a key. However, it will be asked to respect the neighborhood by avoiding noise after 10 pm. The premises are non-smoking.

Fresh organic, local and seasonal products in a basket.
Example of the contents of a basket: hot drink, seasonal fruit, fresh bread or pastries, homemade jam, honey, yogurt.
