Description

Located on 2 acres of open field in a small pine grove. Beautiful mountain view with incredible sunsets. Well removed from the main house for privacy.

The setting

In farm country, well removed from neighbors. Quiet with light traffic on the distant road. Big night sky views.

The spots

Fairly flat area under the pines accessible a short walk from the pole barn where parking is located.
Accessible to 4WD vehicle to drop off a pop-up camper or, better yet, rent our deluxe pop-up camper with 15amp/110v electricity, sink, stove, refrigerator, heat, beds and outdoor shower, already set up for use (bring your own linens/sleeping bags).
Additional tent spots located in the old apple orchard for hike in. We can transport your equipment down to the sites for you, or rent ours already set up. Small, medium and large available. Private enough for naturism/nudism when only one group is camping.

The sanitary facilities

Water and electric hook-up available for the pines site. Tent sanitary facilities. No dumping station.
Orchard sites have potable water available a short distance away.

The amenities

Rental of the pop-up camper in the pines site will include additional outdoor gas grill, basic tableware and utensils, microwave oven, coffee pot, salt, pepper and sugar.

The activities

At site you can roam the 6 acres of rough woods. Convenience store 1 mile away with major shopping 10 miles away. State parks with swimming beaches and trails, canoeing on the West Canada Creek nearby. Take a tour of the Erie Canal. Two miles to the popular Herkimer Diamond Mines. One hour to the famous Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame. Moss Island climbing a half hour away.

Other things

Acoustic music is welcome.
