La Cotentinette: large plot in a former fishing village, quiet, spacious and with sea views.
Absolute tranquility. No noise or visual pollution, perfect for lovers of "beautiful stars".
(FYI: the advert has been on this site for over 2 years) but I couldn't tell the tents from the vans. It's better this way... see the comments on the other ad).
Only 1 van or campi,g pitch as possible.
Close to Eurovélo 4, GR34 and La Cotentin beach (400 m), it's the ideal spot for a stopover between the coast and our beautiful countryside.
Some will take the time to come here for several days, as it's ideally situated for visiting major sites such as Erquy, Cap Fréhel, Saint Cast le Guildo, Pléneuf-Val-André (seaside resort and 18-hole golf course, and all the pretty Côte d'Emeuraude).
Others will stay just one night because their road-trip is more rhythmic.
Let's discuss your arrival arrangements and expectations, and we should be able to work something out.
On the spot, I can advise you on this pretty "little corner", and a binder of up-to-date activities and IGN maps are also at your disposal.
The landscaped, flower-filled grounds are regularly maintained.
It faces due west, perfect for sumptuous sunsets over the bay. The Bréhat lighthouse in the distance is also visible.
(1 h from the pier by car).
As you can see, the plot has a sea view on one side and a view of the countryside on the other: ideal! Don't hesitate!
The setting
The landscaped grounds are virtually enclosed, surrounded by a hedge and not overlooked.
All kinds of birds (pigeons, swallows, titmice (refuges installed on the property). You may hear the local sheep and horses, come across "Albert", one of the local hares, and see our very discreet "3-colored" cat.
A very peaceful spot!
Breathtaking views over the bay, with sumptuous sunsets to boot!
The spots
Only 1 van space is available (unless you are traveling with two vans).
The pitch is on a stabilized, gravelled, horizontal area, facing the lawn and the sea.
Please note that if the van is longer than 5 m, maneuvering will be too delicate to be accepted. Only vans, small transit vans or small camping cars are accepted (please specify dimensions).
