Description

A single pitch at the bottom of this large tropical garden, in a quiet location 2.5 kilometers from the fine sandy beaches of the Costa del sol. Pool access, toilet and shower near the pool, wifi internet. Breakfast and table d'hôtes available. A haven of peace away from the hustle and bustle of the nearby Mediterranean coast. Between Marbella and Estepona.

The setting

Seaside residential area with large properties. No traffic noise, no street lights, just peace and quiet! Location in the middle of nature. The swimming pool and services (breakfast, shower, toilet) are at the top of the property, accessible by stairs.

The spots

A single pitch at the bottom of the property, flat and surrounded by trees. But not accessible to large motorhomes, large maxi: 6.50 meters long. Access via a dirt track in average condition, with a small incline to reach the pitch. Water and electricity on site.
Alternative parking for small vans near the swimming pool, closer to the sanitary facilities.

A large, lush one-hectare garden, with peacocks, koi ponds, numerous trees and plantings. Ideal for relaxation and meditation. Hiking in the mountains and nearby beaches. By car or bus, visit the towns of Estepona, Marbella and Ronda.

Other things

There are many steps in the garden, so this location is not at all suitable for people with reduced mobility, or young children. The property and pool are "Adults only".

  • I stayed with Serge and Anna for four days before Christmas. They have created a beautiful secluded paradise garden on a hillside with a myriad of little paths. features and interesting planting from birds of paradise to oranges lemons bananas and all manner of tropical delights. What is super impressive about this achievement is that I don't believe either of them are professional gardeners and the amount of work involved for Serge must have been colossal this, is a very beautiful spot. They are a wonderfully friendly couple and the facilities, like the garden, are excellent from a private swimming pool/sauna/hot tub/ great shower and lovely terrace with kitchen and the Peacocks which live on site all add to the atmosphere. I can't I can't think of anywhere like it and I intend to return on my way back from Morocco. I didn't use all the facilities this time for example Anna is by all accounts a super cook and I didn't avail myself of her services and there's also what they affectionately called the chalet in the garden which looks like a four bedroom detached house at if you wanted to come for something a little more cosy than a tent or a camper van. My advice is its t's worth staying for more than a night here so you can appreciate everything that it and the region has to offer. Enjoy the seclusion, peace and the beauty of the place. They did warn me about access to the plot being steep but I found no difficulty reversing up or driving straight up in my Citroen Berlingo van. The uphill walk to the toilets and showers and other facilities wasn't an issue for me as a relatively fit 60 year old but if you have any impairments it would be a challenge. An outstanding place on every level.

  • A fabulous end to our vacation! We arrived at Anna and her husband's house in a van and were welcomed like friends! We spent two superb days and evenings! Beautiful surroundings, welcoming, clean and very well equipped! We had taken the breakfast and dinner option, and once again it was a wonderful surprise! Anna delighted us with her copious and tasty cuisine! Many thanks to both of you!
