Description

We are a family with 2 children (10 and 4 in 2023) and we welcome you to our 3-hectare plot, including 2 hectares of woodland. We've been living in the Gers since 2021. We've set up a permaculture vegetable garden and a farmyard, and like to transform our harvests (jams, jars, etc.) to be self-sufficient and reduce waste. We love to entertain and enjoy simplicity! Laurent is from Reunion Island and loves cooking over a wood fire!
Many animals are part of our daily routine: chickens, geese, goats, ducks, rabbits, guinea fowl and even quail! A small farmhouse that will delight visitors :)
Independent dry toilets are available, as are picnic tables overlooking the oak grove!

The setting

The plot is in a country hamlet, with little traffic! Country setting overlooking a forest, century-old oak trees and our henhouse and vegetable patch. We have a wide variety of animals, and they can make a lot of noise, including the gentle crowing of the rooster in the morning :)

The spots

Pitches for tents are located in the oak grove, on slightly sloping grassy ground in the shade of the trees. Pitches for camper vans and minivans are located on the edge of the oak grove, in the shade, on flat ground. Easy access, gateway entrance (2.90m).

The sanitary facilities

A dry toilet is located close to the pitches. An outdoor shower with washbasin is currently being finalized, and we're looking into a solar-powered hot water system. In the meantime, sanitary facilities with hot water are available on site.

The amenities

Drinking water is available, and an extension cord can be provided if needed to recharge phones outside. An outdoor kitchen is planned, but we can always be of service in the meantime! A fridge is available on request and can be made permanently available.

The activities

Activities on a family-run micro-farm: feeding animals, gardening, harvesting, discovering and cooking wild plants, wood-fired Reunionese cooking workshops. Nearby, you can visit the fortified village of Courrensan (4 minutes away), go hiking, visit markets... In summer, there's a large aquatic center in Gondrin (5 minutes away).

Other things

Breakfast available (5 euros/person): bread with homemade jam, coffee/tea or chocolate, fruit juice and boiled egg.
