Description

Nestled in a beautiful valley, the village of Gold River is best known for its would class fishing as well as the beautiful mountains and forest landscapes that surround us. From ponds to rivers to lakes to ocean tours to trails canopied by tall cedars, Gold River has something for every outdoor enthusiast. Or sit within nature and enjoy a book.

The setting

Our property has 180 degree views of glaciated mountains and valleys. We are steps away from nature trails and biking trails. You won’t find a single traffic light in our town but you will find a sky absolutely full of (email hidden)Our home has a wee garden with a few chickens. Woodland views from your window. You have access to a fridge, washroom and laundry upon request.

The spots

The ground is flat. Our property is large so there aren’t size limitations for you. We do not have hookups but you do have access to a generator upon request. There isn’t a lot of shade (sorry!) but that’s best for nighttime star gazing!

The sanitary facilities

All sanitary facilities are in our home and available upon request from 9am until 7pm.

The amenities

Wifi is available. Kitchen equipment is upon request as are kitchen ingredients. I’m sure we have it all and I’m more than happy to accommodate requests!! Electricity can be supplied via generator or an extent in cord from our home. Should you need a phone charger we have tons!!

The activities

In our area you have access to golfing, fishing, hunting, boating, ocean touring, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, mountain biking, road biking, rock climbing, mountaineering….your options are endless for the outdoors.

Other things

We are a village of 1,100 people. We do have grocery items available but not a huge variety of options. Pub and restaurants are available. Take out by Muchalat lake?…..yes please!!!


Rules

Quiet times are from 10pm until 8am. Check in time is after 1pm. Check out is 11am. Those rules are bendy upon request! Children are welcome. Smoking is permitted if playing by seasonal rules….after all we are in a forest. We compost and recycle and you can ask me just about anything and I’ll bet I’ll have an answer. Come!!!!
