Description

A small tree-lined natural oasis nestled among wheat fields.
We are located 5km from the village and services.
You can find the peace of nature but also meet the international volunteers who come to help us with our permaculture garden.
It is a youthful space for sharing, meeting where the days' agricultural work is punctuated by moments of rest and fun.

The spots

You can pitch your tent, caravan or camper in the shade of the pine forest on perfectly level ground. It depends on availability but there is room for about 20 tents and a couple of campers.

The sanitary facilities

We use well water for services but it is not potable despite being clean!
We return of drinking water regularly from the many public fountains in the village.
During the summer we use two outdoor compost toilets and two outdoor solar showers. In case of bad weather you can always use the indoor shower equipped with hot water.
There is also an outdoor sink for washing dishes and several fountains scattered on the grounds.
We demand sparing and intelligent use of water.
You will be able to do a washing machine only using the natural products that we will provide.( Additional charge of 3 € )

We are against all forms of waste and for the respect of natural resources.

The amenities

We have no internet, but the 4g/5g connection is good.
Electricity is present in the house and under the porches of the house ( accessible 24h/24h). It is possible to recharge small electrical appliances.
The kitchen is in the house but is accessible 24h/24h since the house is a common space for all residents of the farm. The residents also sleep in the pine forest.

The activities

We are a few km from the park of 'alta murgia where you can go for walks, visit the bauxite quarries and the 21 bridges.
We are 30 km from Altamura, where you could visit the archaeological museum and the dinosaur museum), from Matera , from beautiful Venosa.
You can go on bicycle or horseback excursions in the park.
We are close to a motocross park .

Other things

We have 1 dog and 15 cats :-) in total freedom. You can come with your animals but they must be polite and know how to coexist with other animals and people passing by.
You will have to manage your.garbage and leave with it.
Being far from the village we are not served by the garbage pickup service.

Rules

There are also often volunteers on the grounds for agricultural activities. They also stay in the campground.
During these times it is not excluded that dinners and dancing evenings are organized in the communal garden to which you are welcome.
The garden is about sixty meters away, so any 'noise is attenuated and allows you to sleep.
The campsite has independent access, so you can enter and leave freely.
