Description

The countryside in the city. Quiet, wooded grounds close to everything. Hosts present but discreet.

The setting

Bucolic and inspiring. Trees and light. Simplicity. Beauty.

The spots

It's up to you to find the most inspiring spot on the terrain to pitch your tent. I won't hide the fact that we're on slightly sloping ground, but it's not a mountain either. We deliberately restrict the number of travelers, to combine conviviality and privacy.

The sanitary facilities

For the time being, it'll be at home, but why not dry toilets in the future? Nothing against a helping hand to complete this project in exchange for a few nights or other free services.
Ditto for the shower. Access to water and an outdoor sink with cold water.

The amenities

Extension cords available for recharging or lighting.
Fiber Internet in the house. 4G in the garden.
Family kitchen available on request.

The activities

We're right in the center of Fontenay-le-Comte, with direct access to amenities and restaurants. Cinema and the banks of the Vendée 5 minutes away. Mervent forest 5 kilometers away. Cycling and hiking trails, fishing... Sports and cultural activities to suit all tastes (for more information, contact the Pays de Vendée tourist office).

Other things

I offer forest baths and coaching.
I can make homemade breakfasts as an option, taking into account any intolerances.
An unsecured swimming pool is accessible under your own responsibility.

Rules

The grounds and equipment provided must be left in the same condition as when you arrived.
We have a cocker spaniel who is very friendly but sometimes clingy and timid.
Mutual respect, especially with regard to noise.
As things stand, we don't feel that children can be accommodated in maximum safety conditions.
And of course, don't do anything that could cause a fire, especially in summer.
