Description

*Between Sens and Auxerre, we welcome you to a large 6-hectare property surrounded by forest. Situated at the end of a small hamlet, it's a very quiet environment, often visited by wild animals. The land is easy to access, with few trees, but you'll find shade along the woods. No onlookers. View over the countryside: fields and forests!

*We can accommodate numerous tents, as well as vans, caravans and motorhomes (with no maximum length limit).

*Nearby: cultural visits to Sens and Auxerre 30 minutes away. Saint Julien du Sault 5 minutes away. Villeneuve sur Yonne and Joigny 15 minutes away, with shops, gourmet restaurants and arts and crafts.

*Things to do in Yonne: vineyard tours, cultural visits, Saint Fargeau castle, Guedelon castle, Musée de la Fabuloserie, visits to artists' and craftsmen's workshops...

* 1h30 from Paris and the Morvan regional nature park.

Rules

*Arrival times are to be defined for each traveler.
*All equipment loaned during your stay must be returned in good condition on the day of departure. If there is any damage, you will be asked for financial compensation.
*Fires are not allowed on the property, high fire risk, but a small BBQ is available if you wish to grill!
*Please do not leave any garbage on the property. Rubbish garbage cans and composting facilities are available.
*Please do not disturb the animals, observe them from a distance only.
*Please enjoy nature with your eyes only, no picking!

Situation

  • Very pleasant stop at Fiona's. Very large fields on the edge of the forest with a view of the sunset. It's easy to set down along the trees for morning shade. A perfect place to relax in the heart of nature. About 15min from the freeway, so it was a perfect stop for us on our way.
