Description

This is just camping in nature. There are no amenities, and it is entirely off-grid.
This is a small plot that survived a recent fire, so the backdrop is definitely different from your normal mountain campsite.

The setting

almost just you, the stars, and the wildlife. It is in the mountains but most trees were burned on a fire a few years ago, so you get to see the afterbirth of the ecosystem

The spots

primarily flat, rocky, and surrounded by trees. You have to hike to the location. you can leave the car on Yellow Pine Road, which is not far from the site
