Description

You can buy our camembert, farmhouse cream and other products (including bread and vegetables, eggs, cider, apple juice...) at the camembert village farmers' market on Fridays from 5pm to 7pm.
Our farm is home to chickens, donkeys, sheep and cows.
In 2023, we're having our first season, so please bear with us, we'll be happy to hear from you.

The setting

You'll pitch your tent 50 m from the farm, near a three-hundred-year-old tree, a pond and a small river. The area is hilly and cool.

The spots

It has 5 tent pitches.
The terrain is fairly flat and open.
Easy access.
We don't accept camping cars, only vans.
We give priority to campers on bicycles.

The sanitary facilities

You'll share a shower room and WC on the ground floor of the house.
There's also an outside dry toilet.
All this is about 50m from your pitch.

The amenities

No Wifi available. You will share our kitchen, without microwave or dishwasher.

There will always be a solution for recharging your phone or storing your bike.

The activities

We recommend 2 essential visits nearby: the Camembert Museum (5km) in Vimoutiers, the Montormel Museum on the encirclement following the D-Day landings (8Km), organic cider producers and farm walks.

Other things

Come and see !

Rules

Smoking is forbidden, as life on a farm can be dangerous, so we ask parents to take good care of their children (a waiver for any accidents will be signed on arrival).
Access to the pitches is free, but access to the house must be quiet, (email hidden)It is essential to respect the calm of the site.

Extras

Possibility of breakfast (€8 / person)

Farm milk, tea or coffee or chocolate, wood-fired bread, farm butter, farm apple juice, 1 egg prepared on request, local jams, farm honey.

Outstanding
  • We had the privilege of being Stanislas and Dalila's first campers.
We were warmly welcomed by the family, in the authentic manner of their pretty farm at the foot of Camembert!
Even the donkeys accompanied us to our overnight accommodation :)
    Calm, green and Normandy!
Thanks to all 4 of you!
