Description

Our vacant land is in a private area surrounded by bushland yet still close to the CBD & parks . We are an hours drive to the coastal city of Cairns . The beautiful Atherton Tablelands begin a 30 minute country drive south . There are many ‘Must sees & dos ‘ in this diverse area of Far North Queensland

The setting

Even though our land is close to town . It is set in a peaceful no through road which enters into bushland . During the tourist season (July - Nov) you may catch sight of a hot air balloon passing over while sipping your morning cuppa & the sound of different birdlife all singing at once will be the great start to your adventure for the day
In the evenings you will have a breathtaking view of glorious sunsets & later a night sky filled with stars & you may spot a possum or a curlew

The spots

Our land is flat with easy access for all vehicles
We have had 3 x 22ft off road caravans fit comfortably

The sanitary facilities

There is access to one hot shower & one toilet en-suite style & a undercover 5kg washing machine all for guests only

The amenities

We can hook you up to power & provide an extension cord if needed . We are happy to give you a Wi-Fi password for your convenience

The activities

A short stroll around the corner is the famous
‘Coffee Works ‘ where you can enjoy locally grown coffee & handmade chocolates
Mareeba is the land of coffee so ‘Skyburys ‘ is a must do especially if you want to indulge in their delicious scones with paw paw jam, fresh from their on-site farm . It is a 15 min country drive . The heritage centre up the road is a blast from the past with an undercover deck to enjoy breakfast or lunch with friends .

Other things

The Granite Gorge is a ‘must do ‘ you can experience hand feeding rock wallabies & if you’re lucky you will witness a peacock spread his feathers . There is a waterfall circuit on the Atherton tablelands best of year is after the wet season which is in Summer so visit after the month of May. The quaint town of Kuranda is 30mins drive on your way down to Cairns . It has local markets , aboriginal performers & great shops if you’re looking for souviners , boho clothing & we highly recommend the French crepe restaurant , butterfly sanctuary and the Kuranda train / skyrail experience .
There is just so much to do it’s impossible to list everything. You will need to holiday up here again & again . You will love it !! ????????
