Tiny house" accommodation located in VILLERET, a village of 65 souls.
4 km from the Etang de la Horre National Reserve (Haute-Marne), 20 km from Lac du Der, this 20m² wooden accommodation will charm you in the midst of a flower-filled country garden leading you on the trail of a forgotten fortress in the Beaufortain bocage...
A number of signposted hiking trails, such as the GR654 or the GR145, are available for leisurely strolls.

La HALTE is the starting point for exploring the Champagne region... and discovering the cellars around Reims or the Côte des Bars...

Whether on foot with a backpack or by car, your route stops for a night or more in search of the authenticity we simply share with you.

Our motto is to be your ambassadors for the region we love so much during your stopover... The Wooden Churches tour will allow you to marvel at an architecture that is unique in Europe!

If you're interested in French history, the Musée Napoléon at Brienne le Château, 14 km away, will whet your appetite. As will Colombey les Deux Eglises, 42 km away, where the Memorial in memory of General Charles de Gaulle will help you refine your knowledge of him. The Musée du Der in Sainte Marie du Lac-Nuisement (40km) will give you the chance to find out all about the creation of Europe's largest man-made lake: the Lac du Der.

Other suggestions for outings will be put forward according to your expectations....such as shopping at Mc Arthur Glen (Troyes) for example.

The setting

La HALTE is the perfect name for this break, with the comfort of a mobile home (beds made up on arrival and towels provided), but where the natural feel of the wood and the change of scenery will surprise you.

A pretty wooden terrace with table, two chairs and two deckchairs will be the place to enjoy the gentle breeze and immerse yourself in Nadia Khouri-Dagher's book "dans nos campagnes" (in our countryside) which she wrote from this place conducive to creativity.... or other readings at your disposal for a total disconnection.

In the middle of our garden, calm, serenity and rest will be the order of the day, amid the songs of a multitude of bird species ......

With our love of nature and simplicity, we're all about sharing. We look forward to welcoming you to LA HALTE: You are most welcome. Agnès and Jean-François HOUGARDY

The spots

La HALTE is like a little cocoon where minimalism is the order of the day with the comfort of everything you need for your stay "back to the simple life, back to basics...."

In order to optimize space in the "Tiny House" spirit, no space is wasted and the living area has been cut into 3 with :
a sleeping area with two single beds, a small wardrobe for storage and a bedside table.

kitchenette, small bar and 2 stools, storage cupboard, coat rack, small 2-seater sofa

a shower room

Whether in summer or winter, a reversible air-conditioning system brings coolness after a long summer day, or softness and even warmth in the autumn and winter months.....
We're sensitive to the fact that our guests use air conditioning, heating and showers sensibly....

The sanitary facilities

La Halte is equipped with a bathroom with toilet, shower, bath mat, washbasin and toilet, hairdryer, 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 bar of soap/person.
