Description

You'll be welcomed at the back of my horses' meadow in summer, as they're obviously in the other pasture. You'll have a view of the meadows and the sunset. Behind you is my little forest, so you won't see any neighbors. If it's rained a lot, I have a place to park near the road, which is stabilized, with the possibility of sheltering under my agricultural tunnel. I have an outside tap for cold drinking water. You can borrow a small barbecue (no fire in case of drought) and use my washing machine (€5). I don't have a tumble dryer.
Please note that the rooster crows every day, but you can buy fresh eggs if you feel like it.
Dogs are welcome, bearing in mind that the grounds are quite open, so we strongly advise you to walk your dog if he's not used to it.

The setting

Bresse is very welcoming and the commune where I live has ponds and beautiful houses typical of the region. There are horses in the meadows, woods and beautiful things to see. Pierre de Bresse castle and its eco-museum are 10 minutes away, and Mervans, one of Europe's twisted bell towers, is 4 minutes away. This village offers all amenities (supermarket, bakery, butcher, doctors, restaurant and bar). Saint Germain du Bois is less than 10 minutes away, where you'll find a supermarket, 2 veterinary surgeries just in case, good restaurants and a Saturday morning market. There's also a swimming pool.
In La Chapelle Saint Sauveur, about 8 minutes away, there's a natural outdoor swimming pool.
I can lend my VTC for shopping in Mervans, which takes 8 minutes.
Silence is required from 10 pm. Dogs must be kept quiet.

The spots

The pitches are shaded in the morning but not in the afternoon, as they face east. If you prefer, just for the night, you can park in front of my farm tunnel where there's shade and shelter from the rain. You can even pitch your tent there. The pitches are flat and spacious for manoeuvring.

The sanitary facilities

I don't have any sanitary facilities at the moment. I offer you a water tap outside. You can use my toilet only in an emergency. Please note that the wood is not intended for sanitary use.

The amenities

I lend a barbecue. Electricity is a bit far, but if you want to park closer to the house, it's possible to plug in with an extension cord for 3€.

The activities

It's possible to fish in Mervans and Dampierre, but I don't know how to obtain fishing cards. There are many places to visit nearby, notably the Château de Pierre de Bresse and Louhans and its arcades, 25 minutes away.

Rules

To avoid fires in summer if there's a drought, no fires, and cigarette butts (and their ashes) must be in ashtrays. We're in the middle of nature, and a fire would start very quickly.
Access is via my driveway if you want to be along the forest, between 9 a.m. and 8.30 p.m.
