Description

Hello, we're Keverly and Jordan, a couple not yet 30 ^^' who are happy to welcome you to their home.
A magnificent 1932 house in its original state on 6000 m² of land, we just bought this house a short time ago, so there's a lot of work to be done. Please note that not everything is perfect, we're not completely settled in, and everything is really period, so the bath isn't brand new, and the wallpaper is ugly ='), but we don't care! Simplicity is the beginning of freedom! =D
An old 4000 m² pasture is available at the back of the house, which we maintain enough to pitch your tent.
Our house is located right next to the Musée de la bataille d'Azincourt. The Hesdin state forest is a 10-minute drive from the house, and is magnificent! Several hiking trails are available.
The nearest town is Fruges, 5 km away! Bakery, Aldi, Carrefour, fruit and vegetable stall, bank and other amenities are all within easy reach!
The various towns in the vicinity offer many events that we haven't yet discovered!

The setting

The setting: 4,000 m² of pasture in a calm, relaxing countryside, where the wonderful songs of the birds will gently wake you up.
Our neighbors, the cows, are quiet and happy to come and say hello.
Occasional village events (flea markets, medieval fairs, etc.) add a completely different atmosphere.

The spots

The site will be shown to you on arrival. Flat in some places, flat in others, you'll choose what suits you best on the side of the field that's most suitable for pitching a tent. Easy access! There's no maximum size, but I was able to fit a 9-person tent + 5 2-person tents on less than a quarter of the site, so there's plenty of room! =)

The sanitary facilities

Shower, toilet, washing machine, tumble dryer and barbecue available. Hot water and drinking water are also available.
For all organizational matters: schedule, access, etc., we'll see together ^^.
A drinking water point will be accessible at all times.

The amenities

Tents can be pitched prior to your arrival, as can some inflatable mattresses and comforters.
Wifi will be provided.
Everything can be provided: microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, etc.) simple condiments, crockery, utensils and more...
Shopping can be done in advance on request.
For electricity, a plug is provided, and an extension cord will be available to reach the tent if necessary.
Everything is possible, but it's important to make arrangements in advance, and to talk things over - communication is essential!

The activities

In high summer, a tubular swimming pool can be installed.
The Azincourt museum is nearby.
The Hesdin state forest for hiking.
For the moment, we don't know any more... ^^'

Other things

The number of people accepted (ticked) is only ephemeral.
Once again, it's up to you to discuss the situation; it's possible to bring more than 4 people.
It is possible to be there at the same time as other travelers.

However, we'll be reasonable - we're not a campsite, nor a business!
We want quality rather than quantity, and our aim is to meet people and exchange ideas in a friendly atmosphere. Who knows, maybe we'll meet again one day on our own trips! =D

Rules

In fact, the rules are the same as for any place made available in a good mood and with respect for others! =P

Tent ready

1) We have a total of 6 tents:

1 9-person tent
5 tents for 2 people

2 1-person inflatable mattresses, 1 1-person camp bed.
2 comforters.

A supplement will be charged for all equipment provided, but everything will be installed before your arrival (to be agreed together according to need).

A battery-powered flashlight will be provided.
