Description

We look forward to welcoming you to our large grounds overlooking the surrounding countryside.
This is above all a place to recharge your batteries.
You'll find peace and quiet, nature and the essentials!
The countryside will delight you, with its infinite variety of walks: river, RAvel, woods, peerages, villages...

The setting

On the edge of the village, in a quiet corner of our large grounds. You can see for over 30 kilometers!
We live at the end of a dirt road, so there's no traffic or street lighting.
We cultivate a private vegetable garden, and a collective one.

The spots

The site is flat and easy to access.
Tents of all sizes can be pitched at the back.
Vans/mobilhomes stay on the side (flat, quiet and with an equally unobstructed view).

The sanitary facilities

No private bathroom.
If required, we can welcome you in our home, at times to be determined together.

The amenities

No special equipment provided, but we can help out on request.
The mobile home can be recharged at the house, there is an outside plug.

It is possible to make a campfire in a specific place and to borrow a grill to prepare a barbecue (3€ for the wood).
We also have a bread/pizza oven in the garden. This can be booked for €15, including wood.
Camping tables and chairs available.
Camping equipment available for hire.

The house wifi does not cover the garden.

The activities

Walks, visits (Huy, Château de Modave, or further afield, the Ourthe valley,...)
Mountain biking, refreshing in the river, climbing.

Other things

Small organic grocery (local producers, vegetables grown at the end of our plot!) in the village, open Wednesday and Friday afternoons. Sourdough bread.
Butcher, baker, pharmacy and post office in the village, mini-market 2 km away.
Small café and concert hall 'Les 2 Ours' open Wednesday to Sunday. Very welcoming, where you can enjoy local beers, charcuterie or chili con carne.

Rules

We like to be notified of your visit ideally 48 hours in advance.
Access to the site is planned in advance with the owners, as is access to the house's amenities.
For camping, we ask you to park your car in the sports complex parking lot once you have unloaded your equipment.
No loud music or fiestas. This is a place to recharge your batteries.
Children welcome.
Dogs allowed if VERY obedient.
Campfire allowed in a specific area.

Extras

Possibility of breakfast (€10 / person)

I'm a naturopath and I'm committed to healthy eating. Depending on my schedule, and your wishes, I can compose a breakfast for you using homemade products or products from local organic producers.
Here's an example
a soft-boiled egg
homemade bread, sourdough or not
jam
butter
ham and/or cheese
fruit or raw vegetable
tea/tea/coffee

Gluten-free/lactose-free version also available on request and for a small supplement.
Children's breakfast: €5

Tent ready

A 4-seater tent (one large bedroom + living space). But more comfortable for 3!
2 inflatable mattresses, sleeping bags, headlamp, stove and crockery.
Complete set rental for 20€.
