Description

Quietly located on the heights of Montluçon, with a view to enjoy beautiful sunsets, I propose to welcome you on our land, a mixture of field and forest!
Close to all amenities, yet in the heart of the countryside.

The setting

We're on a GR trail, so there's plenty of walking to be done in the surrounding area. We are 10 minutes (by car) from the Gorges du Cher and the beautiful spa town of Néris-les-bains (markets, shops). 15 minutes from Montluçon (château, Mupop, etc.).
In the evening, you can watch the stars and lights over the town of Montluçon.

The spots

Situated on a small road with little traffic, the site is easily accessible. The terrain is undulating with flat areas. Quiet country setting. You can choose to pitch up towards the shower and kitchen areas, or at the very bottom of the plot, near the forest, for cooler conditions. The lower pitch is not accessible from July 14 to 31 (reserved for scout groups).
Pitches are freely selectable.

The sanitary facilities

Drinking water available via garden tap. Outdoor shower with cold water, outdoor dry toilets. No opening hours, sanitary facilities available day and night.

The amenities

In a desire to spend less time on digital tools and more time with the people around us, we don't have internet access.
The shared kitchen is located in a small bungalow. It is equipped with a gas stove (hob and oven) and a fridge with a small freezer section.
We only provide electricity for charging your cell phone inside the bungalow.

The activities

Direct access to forest trails.
You'll find plenty of hiking opportunities in the surrounding area, including the beautiful stroll through the Cher gorges, or the "voie verte" linking Montluçon to the spa town of Néris-les-bains via several viaducts (former railroad line).
Wellness and plant discovery activities are regularly organized in Néris. Canoeing at Lavault Saint Anne.

Rules

The site is open 24 hours a day. Campers are asked to respect other campers by keeping the noise level pleasant after 10pm. There are no direct neighbors, so there's plenty of opportunity for music evenings around the campfire.

The site is not currently suitable for children.
We do not welcome animals either, to safeguard the tranquillity of the wild animals present on the site (deer, foxes, hares).

We ask that you refrain from smoking in the vicinity of the accommodation (bungalow, caravan) due to the presence of gas bottles, etc., and in the vicinity of the forest.

Tent ready

We can lend you a 2-person "3 seconds" tent with caravan mattress and solar lamp. Please bring your own sheets or comforters, as we do not provide any equipment.
Count 2 euros extra for the loan of the tent per night.
