Description

Come and enjoy a stay surrounded by greenery and connected to nature, with just the right amount of comfort thanks to my yurt with new bedding (140x190).
On the Loire bike route, you can take advantage of the opportunity to visit some of the Loire castles.
Please note: 2 nights minimum per stay. Capacity: 2 people + 1 extra bed for 1 person possible.

The setting

On the Loire à vélo route, on a shared road (some car traffic), in a large garden planted with trees and partly cultivated (vegetables and fruit trees). No direct neighbors.
The yurt doesn't allow you to be in complete darkness, but you'll see the sun come out, just like in a tent. The yurt is not connected to the electricity grid, but you'll have rechargeable camping lamps to light you up when you go to bed. A mosquito net will protect you from any insects.

The spots

This yurt was entirely built by myself, using beautiful materials (wood, bamboo, felt for the interior walls). The bedding is new, with a 2-person bed (140x190). Reclaimed furniture has been added. The yurt can be compared to an upgraded tent, with the same drawbacks when the sun starts to rise: heat and light invade the interior!

The sanitary facilities

You'll have access to a top-quality solar shower with a wooden palisade for showering out of sight, and stone paving and pebbles on the floor to let the water run through. As the water is heated solely by the sun, it will depend on the amount of sunshine (several hours of sunshine are needed to heat the 40L column) whether the shower is hot or lukewarm. But don't worry, we'll offer you another solution for a hot shower if you need it! This shower is not private, but can be shared with other campers.

The amenities

You and any other campers will also have access to a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need for cooking: oven, microwave, gas stove, toaster, fridge, kettle, coffee maker, pots and pans, cutlery and basic condiments. Electricity is available in this area. You'll also have a terrace, garden table, garden furniture and dry toilets. For duller days, you can eat indoors.

The activities

You can enjoy the Loire Valley by bike if you have the necessary equipment. You can visit the nearest Loire castles (Langeais 2 km away, Azay le Rideau 7 km away, Rigny Ussé 12 km away, Jardins de Villandry 11 km away), as well as the petrifying caves of Savonnières, wine tasting at Azay le Rideau, Chinon, Bourgueil or Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil (all less than 30 min by car), canoeing, ...

Rules

Respect for the vegetable and ornamental gardens, animals (chickens, cats) and equipment at your disposal.
No smoking indoors (yurt and caravan)
Respect for other campers and ourselves (10pm-7am).
Arrival between 6pm and 9pm preferred; departure before 10am
No shoes inside the yurt and solar shower
Leave the common areas as clean as when you arrived, for everyone's comfort.
Reminder: Civil liability insurance is compulsory to cover you in the event of a problem.

Extras

Possibility of breakfast (€10 / person)

Bread, homemade jam, pastries, honey, local PDO Sainte Maure de Touraine cheese (goat's cheese) or other according to availability, fruit juice, choice of hot beverage (coffee, tea, milk, hot chocolate), fruit (according to availability).

  • We had an excellent evening at Anaïs. The welcome was excellent and very accommodating.
    This evening with friends totally disconnected us, so bucolic was the setting.
    I recommend it to all nature lovers.
    The yurt is very comfortable and tastefully decorated.
