Description

Hello, we are a family of 5: dad, mom and the 3 girls.
We have a meadow of 5,200 m2 in the middle of a small country village to put the tents and 1,000 m2 of parking to put 1 or 2 camping cars or a caravan or 2/3 van. This project started mid July 2023 I try to improve the site day by day.

For the moment, we accept a maximum of 10 people (the site can be shared with other campers). For exceptional periods, such as the F1 grand prix, francofolie or franchefoire, we'll be able to increase the capacity a little...

We are bordered by spa, Francorchamps, Malmedy, Stavelot, Franchiront.
We thought our little corner of paradise could be shared.

The setting

The plot is 200 meters from our house, as the crow flies.
We have put a holiday caravan and 2 tents for the summer where our children go to play.
It's very quiet on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, but at weekends it can be noisier because there's a soccer pitch 100m away!

The spots

The terrain is very slightly sloping, but if the tent is well pitched it's not unpleasant.
You can choose where you want to stand.

The sanitary facilities

Dry toilet and shower in a wooden cabin see photo

The amenities

At the moment, we have a fridge, a baker's oven, a gas stove and a microwave!
Saucepan, cutlery, plates, cups, brita cutting board, salt, pepper, sugar cubes, Nespresso cocoa.
Multi-socket with USB port for mobile phone

The activities

The location is ideal for hikers, horseback riders and cyclists!
We're a 10-minute drive from Berinzenne, 5 minutes from the spa and 10 minutes from Francorchamps!

A 5-minute walk from Lake Warfaaz and a 10-minute walk from the woods (100 hectares of woodland :-)

-spa Forest 10 minutes by car, 45 minutes on foot, an accrobranche course, scooter and electric bike rental + other activities.

Golf de spa same distance as spa forest
- Coo ça waterfall and amusement park are 25 minutes away by car.

-Château de Franchimont 20 minutes by car 1h30 on foot

the spa center is full of cafés, restaurants, brasseries and stores.
la prairie is a 10-minute walk from 2 restaurants.

several sources of natural spa water are nearby come and discover our pouhon naturally ferriginous water with magical properties for those lacking in iron!

nivezé is at the center of many tourist towns SPA, MAlMEDY, STAVELOT FRANCORCHAMPS ... 40 minutes from liege and 15minutes from Verviers.

We're surrounded by wonderful places to walk, the state and the sawe at solwaster, the chawion ponds next to the spa golf course, the fagne de berinzenne, a superb ravel just next door. see the photos for more ideas.

Other things

We have 2 ads this one for those who want to exploit all the potential of the site.
the pluses of this ad are the use of the shower, the toilet, the kitchen, the dining room, the fridge, the cooking equipment, the condiments ... so this ad is a few euros more expensive than the other ad but much more comfortable the 4 euros more allow me to pay electricity and replenish the stock of condiments

. for the 2nd ad, campers can only use the shower and toilet.

we'll soon be able to sleep in a real room too, but that's something I'm working on for the moment.

Rules

To respect the environment, we provide small garbage cans for your use.
There's no smoking in the meadow, so we dedicate a smoking area 100 meters from the meadow with an ashtray. We are non-smoking and the meadow can be used for grazing sometimes, so we don't want the animals to eat cigarette butts :-(
The place is a peaceful spot if it's quiet, and we want our campers to be too, so if the day is a bit more festive, you can let loose a bit in the surrounding area :-).

This last little sentence may not be to everyone's taste, but I'm as funny, kind and sympathetic as I am cash! So I hate children who are ill-behaved and spend all day shouting. Children and teenagers are OK, but only if they're calm and respectful of the site. We choose to welcome people to come and recharge their batteries in the peace and quiet, not to come to camping paradise.

I'd like to point out that if your children are really keen, my daughters will be delighted to show them around our "mini farm" - rabbits, goats, sheep, chickens, peacocks, pheasants, turkeys ...!

  • 1st positive experience for us with home Camper.
Jessica made us feel very welcome even though we had booked almost at the last minute.

  • Many thanks to Jessica for her idyllic little corner of nature.
Our stay was really perfect, the place is really calm and impeccable, we have everything at hand, Jessica really makes everything available and her little kitchen corner really helps out. Great idea, we don't lack anything, I really recommend the place because you'll love it!
All in all, we'll be back!
Thank you and see you soon.
    Franck.

  • I've stayed there twice. Great place, Jessica is very available and welcoming! The shelter she built with her own hands is great, with everything you need. I'll be back!

  • 4-day stay at Jessica's very friendly campsite. The place is big and quiet, and there are lots of beautiful must-see places in the area. Big plus on equipment (shower, toilet, grocery store) that you can't find everywhere. We highly recommend it if you're passing through!

  • We spent a pleasant, quiet night. Jessica is very welcoming, and although she's still working on the house, everything we need is available (crockery, gas stove, hot water, electricity, fridge, barbecue kit, a few condiments...). There's also a small grocery corner for emergency supplies.

  • We had a great weekend! Jessica made us feel very welcome and did everything possible to make us feel at home. We'll be back with pleasure.

  • Jessica gave us a very warm welcome to her garden, with an incredible sense of hospitality and adaptability. The place is vast and calm, with a practical little hut for eating and showering. Thank you again for a wonderful stay!
