In the heart of a semi-rural village, at the gateway to the Fagnes, on the borders of Germany and the Netherlands, you can stay in a flat garden, planted with trees and flowers, and close to meadows. Not far from the garden, the village square offers plenty of parking and the chance to sit under a bench in the shade of the lime trees, giving you the impression of an air of Provence in summer :-)
The location is easy to reach and close to transport links (bus line 2 minutes away, train station 5 minutes and freeway 10 minutes). It's a 5-minute drive and a 15-minute walk from the stores. The surrounding area is ideal for walking and horse-riding. A wellness massage is available on site (please book in advance). You're 15 km from Spa (thermal baths, swimming pool, Francofolies, theater festival) and 22 km from Francorchamps (Formula 1 Grand Prix).
The setting
The garden is surrounded by greenery, flowers and trees. We'll be happy to show you where you can enjoy maximum peace and quiet.
The spots
- The flat garden is easily accessible and fully fenced.
- You will be shown the most suitable location on site.
- Vehicles (minivans) up to 2.60 m wide and 6 m long are permitted.
The sanitary facilities
- Drinking water is available via an outside tap (in front of the house) for filling water bottles or for culinary needs only. A rainwater cistern in the garden can be used for washing up (no showers), washing dishes and small items in a basin available on request (waste water should be disposed of in the nearby public sewer). Water is precious, so let's avoid wasting it! A drying rack can be installed on request.
- For vehicles not equipped with toilets, outdoor dry toilets (sheltered and hygienic) will be available day and night. You must provide your own toilet paper.
- You will be responsible for all your waste (including excrement). Dry toilets will be equipped with biodegradable bags for easy disposal. The compost bin in the garden is for fruit and vegetable waste only.
The amenities
- Electricity is available via an extension cord for recharging low-power devices such as mobile phones, tablets, computers, portable fridges, stoves, etc. No recharging for motorized vehicles. You can ask the host to store your food in his private fridge (in reasonable quantities and according to his possibilities).
- Wifi access is available on request only within a limited radius of the host's house (no access in the garden).

On request, you can enjoy a wellness massage at a very reasonable price! (cranio-facial and plantar massage with Kansu bowl).
Other things
- The host declines all responsibility in the event of loss, theft or damage to objects or vehicles belonging to you. Campers undertake to compensate the host for any damage to the infrastructure provided. Civil liability insurance is strongly recommended.
- Pets are welcome (even in the wild, as the garden is fenced). It goes without saying that the owners will be responsible for disposing of any animal droppings (the garden is equipped with the appropriate collection equipment). Similarly, as far as possible, please do not allow male dogs to urinate on the plantations or any other equipment provided.
- In order to respect the neighborhood, festive and noisy gatherings (music, singing, shouting) and fires are forbidden. We hope you enjoy your stay :-)
