Description

Le Coteau des Fadets is an enchanting place to live, nestled in the heart of the Poitou region.
7 hectares of nature, with a beautiful bamboo grove in the making, meadows, fruit trees, a nourishing garden and a wild wetland bordering a river. A real little paradise!

Le coteau des fadets is our dream come true, a family living project in total simplicity and in connection with nature.
We're delighted to welcome you into our world, with pitches for tents and trucks, and later a hobbit house.
Further accommodation will be added over time.

Come and experience an enchanting stay focused on nature and the connection with the living. Here, we invite you to recharge your batteries by combining comfort and indulgence with sobriety and simplicity.
As part of this approach, we offer entirely vegan, home-cooked breakfasts, prepared with mainly organic and local produce whenever possible.

The setting

We welcome you in the middle of 7 hectares of Nature

The spots

We offer 2 tent pitches, each suitable for a family or small group of friends.
They are located on the wetland, in a small shaded clearing surrounded by trees.
We also offer a site for a converted truck, located in a sunny area.

You'll have unlimited access to a riverside area with table and hammocks, where you can enjoy the coolness and permanent shade of this environment.

A small parking lot is available close to the tent pitches.

The sanitary facilities

A 20m2 chalet has been fully furnished and decorated for your comfort.
It is located 100m from the pitches and has all the comforts you need, with shower, dry toilet, fridge/freezer, microwave, hotplates, table, crockery, etc.
With running water, electricity and sockets for recharging your phones.

We are very concerned about respecting plants and biodiversity.
We therefore ask our holidaymakers to be respectful of trees, bamboo and wild flowers, and not to pick them up, as many are protected.
In the same way, we ask you to pay particular attention to this wild and preserved area, by staying exclusively on the path and the landscaped area dedicated to you. It is forbidden to venture into the middle of the wild area, as this could disturb the flora and fauna.

  • Many thanks to Flora and Julien for their warm and caring welcome.

    We were able to enjoy their superb 7-hectare grounds with their huge fields of flowers, including a hobbit house in one corner, as well as a small forest giving access to the river, with a relaxation area.

    We were able to pitch our tent in a well-shaded area sheltered from the wind.

    We had access to a small chalet with a kitchen-dining room and bathroom, all well equipped and decorated. We loved the options they offered: massage and homemade aperitif.

    We would have loved to have stayed longer on this wonderful property, if we hadn't been expected elsewhere...
