Description

For backpackers passing through, a bare, completely self-sufficient pitch in the middle of nature for a quick, quiet stopover on your travels.

The setting

In the middle of nowhere, at the end of a cul-de-sac, our property extends over 8 hectares of hedged meadows surrounding a stone building dating from 1825.
Here you can enjoy a unique experience in Normandy, surrounded by Connemara ponies and a host of wild and domestic animals.

From the warmth of your comforter, you'll enjoy a magnificent sunset, gaze at the stars on a summer's evening, and fall asleep to the call of the owl!

The nearest train station is in Serqueux (5 km). You can reach Rouen by train in just 30 minutes.
The ferry port of Dieppe is 1 hour away. Link to Newhaven with 2 to 3 daily rotations.
Beauvais Tillé airport 45 minutes away.
Fast access to A29 to Le Havre-Amiens. A28 to Rouen-Abbeville at Neufchatel en Bray (15 km)

Rules

All we ask is that you respect the peace and quiet of the area and the neighbors.

Please note that we live here with a lot of animals, so you'll be in their home too.
For your safety and theirs, it is therefore not permitted to enter the enclosures or feed them without being invited.
For the same reasons, the entrance gate must always be closed after each visit.
You should also be aware that they live their lives to the full and can sometimes be vocally demonstrative (especially peacocks in springtime :)).

Finally, as we strive to reduce our impact on the environment on a daily basis, we ask you to join us in this effort by sorting your waste.

Apart from these instructions, you are free to enjoy the property, while respecting the occupants, the equipment and the environment.



* Clean, well-behaved dogs are welcome free of charge, but MUST BE AGREED TO IN ADVANCE and MUST be kept on a leash, as many of our animals roam freely on the property.

* Children, even if they are clean and well-behaved, remain the responsibility of their parents for the duration of their stay (but you don't have to keep them on a leash ^^).

* The property is NON SMOKING.
